This document provides comprehensive installation instructions for the Cal-Royal SDH2082 sliding glass door hardware system. It details necessary measurements, component identification, and a step-by-step assembly process.

Key Dimensions and Measurements

The system is designed for a standard track length of 2500mm. Precise measurements are crucial for correct installation:

Track Mounting Points: Holes on the track are typically spaced 4 inches (100mm) from each end and 2 inches (50mm) from each end.
Door to Roller Attachment: Measurements from the top edge of the door to the roller mounting points are approximately 4 59/64 inches (125mm). The distance from the bottom edge of the door opening to the track is 1/2 inch (10mm).
Track Profile: The track has a cross-sectional profile with dimensions of 1/2 inch (10mm) and 15/32 inch (12mm).

Installation Procedure

Step 1: Mark Mounting Locations

Determine and mark the precise locations for the wall mounts on the header or wall. Refer to the provided diagrams for measurements: 4 59/64 inches (125mm) from the edge and 1/2 inch (10mm) from the bottom edge of the door opening. Ensure all marks are level for proper track alignment. A caution symbol [warning] is displayed in the diagram, advising careful measurement.

Step 2: Install Wall Mounts

Secure the wall mounts to the marked positions using the appropriate screws. For instance, the ST4.8x32 screws (x2) or 5/16 inch (Ø8) screws (x2) are indicated for this purpose in the diagrams.

Step 3: Attach Rollers to Door

Affix the roller assemblies to the top edge of the glass door. Ensure correct orientation and secure them using the provided screws, such as M6x10 (x10) or M6x70 (x5).

Step 4: Mount the Track

Position the 2500mm track onto the installed wall mounts. Align the track's mounting holes with the wall mounts and fasten securely using the 1/2 inch (Ø10) screws (x5).

Step 5: Roller Assembly Detail

This step offers a detailed view of the roller assembly attachment to the door. Ensure the rollers are correctly seated and fastened with the specified hardware, such as M6x10 screws.

Step 6: Hang the Door on Track

Carefully lift the door and hang it onto the track. Align the rollers with the track and ensure they move smoothly along its surface.

Step 7: Install End Door Stoppers

Install the door stoppers at the desired end of the track to prevent the door from sliding past its intended limits. The diagrams show the stopper mechanism being attached using screws, such as 5/32 inch (4mm) screws.

Step 8: Adjust Door and Install Additional Stoppers

Adjust the door's final position and height for optimal operation. Additional door stoppers can be installed at the track's end or between wall mounts for enhanced stability and positioning control.

Step 9: Install Bottom Door Guide

Attach the bottom door guide to the bottom edge of the door. This component is essential for stabilizing the door and preventing it from swaying. The diagram illustrates the guide and its attachment points.
