General Instructions
Please retain product label and instructions for future reference.
Important: All buildings should be erected by two adults.
Note on Timber: Timber is a natural material and can be affected by weather. Swelling may occur during heavy rain, and warping during dry spells due to moisture loss. To help mitigate this, it is suggested to spray the outdoor building with water during extended warm sunshine and shelter it during rain or snow.
Once installed, the timber building requires annual treatment to prevent deterioration and maintain the anti-rot guarantee. Dip-treated buildings need preservative and waterproof treatment. Pressure-treated buildings require waterproof treatment. Log cabins, supplied untreated, need both preservative and waterproofing treatment.
Building a Base:
- Choose a location with access to all sides for maintenance.
- Ensure the base is level and built on firm ground to prevent distortion.
- The base should be slightly smaller than the building's external measurements, allowing cladding to overlap for water runoff.
- The floor should be at least 25mm above the surrounding ground level to avoid flooding.
Types of Base:
- Concrete: 75mm concrete laid on 75mm hard-core.
- Slabs: Laid on 50mm of sharp sand.
Tools Required (not supplied): Phillips screwdriver, Stanley knife, wood saw, step ladder, drill with 2mm bit.
Safety: Ensure a clean, dry area for assembly. For ease of assembly, pilot drill all screw holes. Wear gloves when handling rough sawn timber to avoid splinters. For pressure-treated wood, always wear gloves, eye protection, and a dust mask. Never burn sawdust or scraps from pressure-treated wood; dispose of them in a landfill.

Action: Place the two floor panels onto a firm and level base, upside down. Secure the floors together using 3x50mm screws, fixing in an alternating pattern as shown in the illustration. Once fitted, turn the floor assembly the right way up.
Note: Ensure the base has suitable drainage and is free from areas where standing water can collect.
Parts/Hardware Used: 3x50mm Screws.
Step 2: Back and Right Gable Assembly
Action: Place the back panels (2) and the right gable panel (3) onto the floor assembly. Secure them in place using 6x50mm screws. Do not secure to the floor until the roof is fixed.
Parts/Hardware Used: 6x50mm Screws.
Step 3: Front and Left Gable Assembly
Action: Following the same method as Step 2, place the front panel (1) and the left gable panel (4) onto the floor assembly. Secure them in place using 6x50mm screws. Do not secure to the floor until the roof is fixed.
Note: The door opening can be positioned at either side of the building depending on your needs and preferences.
Parts/Hardware Used: 6x50mm Screws.
Step 4: Door Frame Installation
Action: Place the first door frame (9) between the gable panel and the front panel. Secure it in place using 3x50mm screws. Ensure screws go through the framing into the floor bearers.
Parts/Hardware Used: 3x50mm Screws.
Note: The door opening can be positioned at either side of the building depending on your needs and preferences.
Step 5: Door Side Rail Attachment
Action: Attach the door side rail (10) to the front panel using 3x50mm screws. Ensure the door side rail sits on top of the bottom framing.
Parts/Hardware Used: 3x50mm Screws.
Note: The door opening can be positioned at either side of the building depending on your needs and preferences.
Step 6: "L" Bracket and Rail Assembly
Action (a): Using 2x20mm screws, fix the "L" bracket (16) to one end of the remaining door frame (9).
Action (b): Place the assembled rail (10) onto the side door rail and secure through the top using 1x50mm screw. Also, secure it to the gable panel (through the "L" bracket) using 2x30mm screws.
Parts/Hardware Used: 2x20mm Screws, 1x50mm Screw, 2x30mm Screws.
Step 7: Roof Support Installation
Action: Place the roof support bar (8) centrally in the building. Secure it into place with 2x50mm screws, fixing through the top rail and the back panel.
Parts/Hardware Used: 2x50mm Screws.
Step 8: Trim Attachment
Action: Fix the large trims (12) to the gable side and the bottom of the door opening, securing with 3x30mm screws per trim. Attach the small door side trim (13) to the door side rail with 3x30mm screws. Measure and cut trims to fit as needed.
Parts/Hardware Used: 9x30mm Screws (for large trims), 3x30mm Screws (for small trim).
Step 9: Door Hinge and Hanging
Action: Attach 2x butt hinges (14) to each door, securing at the edge with 3x30mm screws per hinge. Align each door into the door gap and secure at either side using 3x30mm screws per hinge.
Parts/Hardware Used: 24x30mm Screws (total for hinges and door securing).
Step 10: Eaves Frame and Roof Sheet Attachment
Action (a): Secure 1x eaves frame (11) to each roof sheet (7), flush to the edge, using 3x30mm screws.
Action (b): Rest the assembled roof sections on top of the building and fix into place with 8x30mm screws per roof section.
Parts/Hardware Used: 22x30mm Screws (total for eaves frames and roof sheets).
Step 11: Securing Building to Floor
Action: Once the roof is fixed, secure the building to the floor using 15x50mm screws. Ensure screws go through the framing into the floor bearers.
Parts/Hardware Used: 15x50mm Screws.
Step 12: Felt Application
Action: Cut the felt (17) to length and lay it onto the roof. Ensure approximately 50mm of overhang around the building. Fix the felt into place using 60x felt tacks at 100mm intervals.
Parts/Hardware Used: 60x Felt Tacks.
Visual Aid: A diagram shows handling the felt with care, with a 'no' symbol (❌) over incorrect handling and a 'yes' symbol (✔️) over correct handling.

Action (b): Fix the last turn button (15) to the front of the "locking door" with 1x30mm black screw.
Action (c): Fix the remaining trims (12) around the top of the building, ensuring they trap the felt in between. Secure each trim in place with 3x30mm screws. Measure and cut trims to fit as needed.
Parts/Hardware Used: 2x30mm Black Screws (for turn buttons), 12x30mm Screws (for top trims).
Final Reminder: It is ESSENTIAL that you apply wood treatment immediately after the building has been assembled.
