Navigation Connections

Pink: VSS Vehicle speed pulse signal
Lt. Green: Parking Brake trigger (-12V when park brake ON)
Purple/White: Reverse signal
White: Phone mute
Yellow: +12V constant power

Note: The RED accessory output wire from the LBW20 interface is rated at 10A Max output for most aftermarket head units. Do not connect additional +12A switched accessories to this output source as that may cause damage to the LBW20 module itself. If 10A output is not sufficient, then a relay is needed (relay not included).

Steering Wheel Wiring Codes and Connections

Wiring Diagram Description: The diagram shows a 3.5mm connector with wires labeled KEY 1, KEY 2, GND, and a separate 3.5mm connection. It also illustrates the connection of the LBW20 module to the vehicle's wiring harness and then to the aftermarket radio.

Instructions:

Prepare SWC steering wheel connector harness by using the chart below.
Connect the harness to the interface module.
For Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Panasonic, and Sony car stereos, connect the 3.5mm male steering plug into the steering wheel input jack at the back of the stereo.
For Kenwood and newer JVC stereos, connect the BROWN wire from the steering wheel harness to the "Remote in" wire at the back of the stereo.

The LBW20 module connects to the vehicle harness on one side and to the aftermarket radio via these specific ports on the other.
