General Information & Safety
Manufacturer Disclaimer: This appliance is designed for domestic use only. The manufacturer is not responsible for injuries or damages resulting from incorrect installation or improper use.
The product complies with European directives 2014/35/EU (low voltage) and 2014/30/EU (electromagnetic compatibility).
Precautions
- Keep magnetizable objects (credit cards, floppy disks, calculators) away from the hob.
- Do not place aluminum foil or food wrapped in aluminum foil directly on the hob.
- Avoid placing metal objects (knives, forks, spoons, lids) on the hob surface as they can become hot.
- When cooking in non-stick pans without seasoning, limit pre-heating to 1-2 minutes.
- For sticky foods, start cooking at low power and stir frequently.
- After cooking, switch off the zone using the control (turn to "0"); do not rely solely on the pan sensor.
- If the hob surface is damaged, immediately disconnect from the mains to prevent electric shock.
- Never use a steam cleaner.
- Appliance parts can be hot during operation; avoid touching heating elements.
Child Safety
- Children under 8 should be kept at a safe distance unless supervised.
- Children aged 8+ and individuals with reduced capabilities may use the appliance if supervised and instructed, understanding the risks.
- Children must not play with the appliance.
- User maintenance and cleaning should only be performed by children under constant supervision.
- Cooking with grease or oil can be hazardous and cause fires if left unattended. Never use water to extinguish fires; disconnect the appliance and cover flames.
- Cooking processes require supervision, especially short ones.
- Unattended cooking with fat or oil is dangerous and can lead to fire.
- Do not store items on cooking surfaces (fire hazard).
- Use only manufacturer-approved counter top protectors.
WARNING: Accessible parts become hot. Keep children away to prevent burns.
Electrical Connection: Ensure fixed wiring includes a means for full disconnection (all poles, overvoltage category III) as per wiring rules. The plug or switch must be easily accessible.
This appliance is not intended for use with external timers or remote control systems.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized service center, or a qualified electrician.
Operating Principle (Fig. 1)
Fig. 1 illustrates the induction hob's operation: a cooking vessel (1) is heated by induced current (2) generated by a magnetic field (3) from an inductor (4), controlled by an electronic circuit (5) powered by a supply (6). Heat is transferred to food via the vessel. The system is highly efficient, stops automatically when the vessel is removed, and offers flexible control.
User Instructions (Fig. 2)
Fig. 2 displays the control panel. Key controls include ON/OFF (1), Minus (2), Plus (3), Cooking Zone selector (4), Key Lock (5), Timer (6), Booster (7), and Pause (8).
Touch Control Operation:
- Upon power application, the control initializes for ~1 second, then enters stand-by mode.
- Press ON/OFF (1) to activate. Zones show "-" (or "H" if hot).
- The control remains active for 60 seconds; returns to stand-by if no selection is made.
- Activation requires only the ON/OFF key; other key presses keep it in stand-by.
- Child safety feature ("Lo") locks controls.
- The ON/OFF key always prioritizes switching off.
Automatic Switch-OFF: The control turns off after 60 seconds of inactivity.
Cooking Zone Control:
- Place pan on zone. Select zone with button (4).
- Adjust power level (1-9) using Minus (2) or Plus (3).
- To switch off, select zone and press Minus/Plus simultaneously, or repeatedly press Minus to reach 0.
Switching Off All Zones: Use the ON/OFF key.
Wattage Settings: 9 levels indicated by LEDs. The front-left zone may reduce power at level 9 after 30 mins for safety. Use Boost ("P") for higher power.
Boost Function: Activate with button (7). Provides temporary higher power (5 min limit) for specific zones. Returns to level 9 afterward. Function remains active if pan is removed during boost.
Power Management: Prioritizes the latest setting. If power reduction is needed, the zone setting flashes for 3 seconds before adjusting.
Residual Heat Indicator: "H" indicates a hot zone. Calculation based on setting and usage time.
Automatic Power OFF: Each zone has a maximum operating time limit, reset by any setting change.
Key Lock (Child Safety):
- Activate with button (5); "Lo" indicates lock.
- Lock persists through power cycles.
- Cancel by pressing and holding button (8) for 3 seconds.
Timer Function:
- Stand-alone Timer: Use when hob is inactive. Set time (0-99 min) using buttons (6), (2), (3). Sound signal at end.
- Cooking Zone Timer: Program zones independently (0-99 min). A red dot indicates active timer. Sound signal and zone cutoff upon expiry.
Pause Function:
- Press button (8) to pause all heating zones ("||" indicator).
- Press button (8) again to resume previous settings.
- Note: Function available for one or more zones. Auto-off after 30 mins if not cancelled.
Installation
Electrical connections must be made by qualified personnel according to regulations.

Positioning:
- Install into a work-top as shown. Apply sealing agent around the perimeter.
- Avoid installing directly over an oven unless it has adequate cooling, no warm-air leakage, and proper air-inlets.
Electrical Connection:
- Verify plant characteristics match the rating plate.
- Ensure an efficient earth connection as per law.
- Use appropriate cable/plug material for working temperature if not supplied. Cable must not exceed 50°C ambient temperature.
Fig. 6 shows wiring diagrams and includes multilingual text regarding "simultaneity factors," which are important for electrical load considerations.
Cooking Vessels (Fig. 3)
Fig. 3 illustrates correct pot placement (flat, suitable base) versus incorrect placement.
Suitable Vessels:
- Magnet-attracting vessels.
- Vessels specifically marked for induction cooking.
- Flat, thick-bottomed vessels.
- Vessels matching zone diameter for optimal power use.
- Stainless steel with multi-layer or ferritic stainless steel bases.
- Cast iron with enamel bottoms (to protect the surface).
Unsuitable Vessels:
- Glass, ceramic, earthenware, aluminum, copper, non-magnetic stainless steel.
Maintenance (Fig. 4)
Fig. 4 depicts using a scraper to remove residue from the hob surface.
- Promptly remove spills, grease, sugar, etc., with a scraper to prevent surface damage.
- Clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent, rinse, and dry.
- Do not use sponges, abrasive cloths, or harsh chemical cleaners.
