Keep magnetizable objects (credit cards, floppy disks, calculators) away from the hob when in use.
Do not use aluminum foil or place food wrapped in foil directly on the hob. Avoid placing metal objects like knives, forks, spoons, and lids on the hob surface as they can heat up.
When cooking in a non-stick pan without seasoning, limit pre-heating time to 1-2 minutes.
For foods prone to sticking, start cooking at a low power level, gradually increasing and stirring regularly.
After cooking, switch off the hob using the control (turn to "0") and do not rely solely on the pan sensor.
If the hob surface cracks, immediately disconnect the appliance from the mains to prevent electric shock.
Never use a steam cleaner.
Accessible parts may be hot during operation. Avoid touching heating elements.
Children under 8 years should be kept at a safe distance unless continuously supervised.
Children aged 8 and over, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience, may use the appliance if supervised or instructed on safe use and aware of the dangers.
Children must not play with the appliance. User maintenance and cleaning should only be done by children under constant supervision.
Cooking with grease or oil unattended can cause fires. Never extinguish a grease fire with water; disconnect the appliance and cover flames with a lid or sheet.
Do not store items on cooking surfaces.
Only use countertop protectors designed for the appliance.
People with pacemakers should consult their doctor before use.
Over-Temperature Protection: The hob will automatically stop if excessive temperature is detected.
Detection of Small Articles: Unsuitable pans or small items left on the hob will cause it to go into standby after 1 minute. The fan will continue to cool the hob for another minute.
Auto Shutdown Protection: The hob automatically shuts down if left on unintentionally. Default working times vary by power level (e.g., 240 min for level 1-3, 90 min for level 9).
When a pot is removed, the hob stops heating immediately and switches off after 2 minutes.
Operating Principle
The hob utilizes the electromagnetic properties of cooking vessels. An electronic circuit controls an inductor coil, which generates a magnetic field. Heat is transferred directly to the food via the cooking vessel.
Key benefits include minimal heat loss (high efficiency), automatic shut-off when a vessel is removed, and precise control via the electronic circuit.

Using Your Induction Hob
Starting Cooking
- Touch the ON/OFF key [ON/OFF]. A beep and "–" on displays indicate standby mode.
- Place a suitable, clean, and dry pan on the desired cooking zone.
- Select the zone by pressing the zone select key [Zone Select]. The selected zone symbol will illuminate.
- Adjust the heat setting using the slider regulating key [+]/[-].
If no heat setting is chosen within 1 minute, the hob will switch off. You can modify the heat setting at any time.
Display Flashing: If the display flashes alternately with the heat setting, it indicates:
- Pan not on the correct zone.
- Pan is not suitable for induction cooking.
- Pan is too small or not centered.
Heating only occurs with a suitable pan. The display turns off after 1 minute if no suitable pan is detected.
Finishing Cooking
- Touch the zone select key [Zone Select] for the zone to be switched off.
- Set the slider regulating key [+]/[-] to "0".
Hot Surface Indicator: "H" indicates a hot cooking zone. It disappears when the surface cools to a safe temperature. This residual heat can be used for warming other dishes.
Using the Boost Function
Activation: Select a zone [Zone Select], then touch the Boost control key [Boost]. The indicator will show "P." and power will reach maximum.
Cancellation: Select the zone [Zone Select], then use the slider regulating key [+]/[-] to cancel Boost. The zone reverts to level 9. The Boost function can be used on any zone and reverts to level 9 after 5 minutes.
Using the Child Lock Function
This prevents unintended use. When locked, all controls except OFF [ON/OFF] are disabled.
To Lock: Touch the keylock control [Child Lock] for 3 seconds. The timer indicator will show "Lo".
To Unlock: Ensure the hob is on, then touch and hold the keylock control [Child Lock] for a moment.
Note: In lock mode, the OFF [ON/OFF] control can always be used in an emergency, but the hob must be unlocked for subsequent operations.
Using the Timer
The timer can be used as a minute minder (does not turn off zones) or to turn off a specific cooking zone after a set time (up to 99 minutes).
Using the Timer as a Minute Minder:
- Ensure the cooktop is on.
- Touch the Timer key [Timer]. The minder indicator will flash "10".
- Use the "+" or "-" keys [+]/[-] to set the time (1-99 minutes).
- Pressing "+" or "-" once adjusts by 1 minute; holding adjusts by 10 minutes. Pressing both cancels the timer.
- Once set, the countdown begins immediately, and the remaining time is displayed.
- A buzzer sounds for 30 seconds when the time is up, and the indicator turns off. This function works in normal mode.
Setting the Timer to Turn Off Cooking Zones:
- Select the cooking zone you wish to control by pressing its zone select key [Zone Select].
- Touch the Timer key [Timer]. The minder indicator will flash "10".
- Use the "+" or "-" keys [+]/[-] to set the time (1-99 minutes).
- Once set, the countdown begins. The display shows remaining time, and the timer indicator flashes for 5 seconds. A red dot next to the power level indicates the selected zone.
- When the timer expires, the selected cooking zone will automatically switch off. Other zones remain active if previously turned on.
- If using the timer as both an alarm and a zone shut-off, the display prioritizes the alarm time. Pressing the zone key shows the shut-off timer remaining time.

Cooking Vessels
Suitable vessels for induction cooking are magnet-attracting. Prefer vessels specifically declared suitable for induction.
- Flat and thick-bottomed vessels are recommended.
- Using a vessel with a diameter matching the zone ensures maximum power exploitation. Smaller vessels reduce power exploitation but do not cause energy loss. Vessels with diameters less than 10 cm are not recommended.
- Stainless-steel vessels with multi-layer or ferritic stainless-steel bottoms are suitable if specified.
- Cast-iron vessels, preferably with enamel bottoms, are recommended to avoid scratching the ceramic surface.
Unsuitable vessels: Glass, ceramic, earthenware, aluminum, copper, or non-magnetic (austenitic) stainless-steel vessels.
Diagram (Fig. 3) illustrates correct and incorrect pot placement for optimal heating: Correct placement shows a pot with good contact on the hob, marked with a checkmark (✔️). Incorrect placements show pots with poor contact, marked with cross marks (❌).
Maintenance
Diagram (Fig. 4) shows a scraper being used to clean the hob surface, removing food debris.
Immediately remove any aluminum foil bits, food spills, grease, sugar, or high-sugar content food from the surface to prevent damage.
Clean the surface with a towel and an appropriate cleaning product, then rinse with water and dry with a clean cloth.
Do not use abrasive sponges or cloths. Avoid aggressive chemical detergents like oven sprays or spot removers.
Installation
These instructions are for qualified technicians.
Positioning (Fig. 5)
