Safety Instructions

Operation

The appliance is intended only for domestic use, not for professional use.

Parts Identification

Refer to the diagram on page 2 for numbered parts:

  • 5. Handle
  • 6. Safety clip

Initial Setup

  1. Unpack the device and remove all packaging parts.
  2. Clean the baking trays before first use (see 'Cleaning and maintenance').
  3. Plug in the power cord and let the waffle maker heat for 10 minutes to remove any packaging odor.

NOTE: The first use may produce slight smoke and odor, which is normal and will disappear. Ensure sufficient ventilation. Keep birds away from the appliance during operation.

Preheating

  1. Place the appliance on a flat, level, heat-resistant surface.
  2. Connect to an earthed socket.
  3. Plug the power cord into the wall outlet; indicator lights will turn on.
  4. Wait for the green indicator light to turn off; the baking trays are then at the correct temperature.

Baking Waffles

  1. Prepare waffle dough according to the recipe on the packaging.
  2. Preheat the appliance as described in 'Preheating'.
  3. Grease both baking trays using a brush.
  4. Fill the bottom baking tray with dough, avoiding overflow. Close the lid.
  5. Bake until waffles reach the desired color.
  6. Open the appliance when waffles are ready.
  7. Carefully remove waffles with a heat-resistant wooden or plastic spatula to avoid damaging the non-stick coating.
  8. When finished, unplug the appliance and open it to allow baking trays to cool.

NOTE: Normal cooking time is 3-5 minutes, depending on dough and personal taste. Keep the appliance closed during baking for best results. Do not use sharp forks or knives.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Clean the waffle maker after each use.

  1. Unplug and let the appliance cool down completely.
  2. Clean with a damp cloth. If necessary, use soapy water. Ensure no liquid enters the device.
  3. Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
  4. Store the waffle maker.

NOTE: Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents or sharp objects.
