  • 3. Safe lid locking system
  • 4. Power cord and plug
  • 5. Grill plates

Before First Use

  1. Remove the packaging.
  2. Clean all accessories to remove any residues from the manufacturing process (see "Cleaning and maintenance").
  3. Plug the appliance into the wall socket and let the grill heat up for 10 minutes. This will remove any packaging odor from the appliance.

WARNING:

  • The appliance may emit a little smoke and a characteristic smell when you switch it on for the first time. This is normal and will soon stop. Ensure the appliance has sufficient ventilation.
  • Keep birds away from the appliance when it is in use; fumes released from the non-stick coating when the baking plate is hot can cause stress to birds.

Preparations

  1. Place the grill on a level, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
  2. Place the drip tray (2) at the front of the grill between the front feet.
  3. Close the lid (6).
  4. Plug the cord (4) into the wall socket. The red light (1) will illuminate, and the appliance will begin preheating the grill plates (5). Once the grill plates reach cooking temperature, the red light will go out. This takes approximately 2 minutes.

Grilling

  1. Open the lid.
  2. Place the food you want to grill on the lower grill plate.
  3. Close the lid.
  4. Grill the food until it is cooked. The required cooking time varies for each product.
  5. Open the lid and remove the food from the grill plate.
  6. Unplug the appliance once you have finished using it. Enjoy your meal!

WARNING:

  • Do not use the appliance's safety clip (3) to squeeze the product. The weight of the top lid provides even pressure.
  • To accommodate food of different thicknesses, the lid has play, allowing it to easily adjust to the food's thickness.
  • Do not use forks, knives, or other sharp objects! You could damage the non-stick coating. Damage to the baking plates caused by sharp objects will void the warranty!
