Casio G-200 Watch (Module 2387)

Introduction

This document provides instructions for operating the Casio G-200 watch, featuring module 2387. It covers basic functions, timekeeping, alarms, stopwatch, and specifications.

Water Resistance

The watch offers various levels of water resistance suitable for different activities:

• 50M Water Resistant: Suitable for everyday use, splashes, and light rain.
• 100M Water Resistant: Suitable for swimming and snorkeling. Not suitable for diving.
• 200M Water Resistant: Suitable for recreational scuba diving.
• 300M Water Resistant: Suitable for professional diving.

Always ensure the crown is pushed in and any buttons are not operated underwater.

General Button Operations

The watch is operated using several buttons, typically labeled:

• [ADJ Button]: Used for adjustments, starting/stopping operations.
• [Button B]: Used for mode selection, starting/stopping, and changing values.
• [Button C]: Used for changing display items, setting digits, and switching functions.
• [Button L]: Used for illumination (if applicable) or other functions.

The display [Display] shows various indicators [Indicator] and information depending on the mode [Mode Indicator].

Timekeeping Mode

This is the default mode when the watch is turned on.

1. Press the [ADJ Button] to enter Timekeeping Mode.
2. Press and hold the [ADJ Button] to enter the setting mode. The seconds digits will flash.
3. Press [Button C] to reset the seconds to 00.
4. Press [Button B] to move to the next setting item (Hour, Minute, Year, Month, Day, 12/24 Hour Format).
5. Use [Button C] to adjust the flashing item.
6. Press [ADJ Button] to exit setting mode.

The calendar function covers the years 1995 to 2039. The watch supports both 12-hour and 24-hour formats.

Pressing [Button A] may activate a backlight for approximately 20 seconds.

Alarm Mode

The watch features an alarm function.

1. Press [Button B] repeatedly until the alarm indicator [Display] is shown.
2. Press and hold [ADJ Button] to enter alarm setting mode. The hour digits will flash.
3. Use [Button C] to adjust the hour.
4. Press [Button B] to move to the minute setting.
5. Use [Button C] to adjust the minute.
6. Press [ADJ Button] to exit alarm setting mode.

The alarm will sound at the set time. Pressing [Button B] or [Button C] typically silences the alarm.

Stopwatch Mode

The stopwatch measures elapsed time.

1. Press [Button B] repeatedly until the stopwatch indicator [Display] is shown.
2. Press [ADJ Button] to start the stopwatch.
3. Press [ADJ Button] again to stop the stopwatch.
4. Press [Button C] to reset the stopwatch to zero.

The stopwatch can measure up to 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59.99 seconds with a 1/100 second resolution. It supports various measurement modes [Measurement Mode].
