Water Resistance

Operating Instructions
1. Setting the Home City
This procedure sets the current city for timekeeping and world time functions. The Home City code determines the standard time and daylight saving time settings. Common city codes include TYO (Tokyo), NYC (New York), LON (London), and UTC.
Steps:
- Press the Hold button to enter the setting mode.
- Select the desired Home City code using the buttons.
- Confirm the selection.
2. Daylight Saving Time (DST) Setting
The DST function allows you to adjust the time by one hour for daylight saving. It can be set to ON, OFF, or AUTO.

- Navigate to the timekeeping mode.
- Press the Hold button to enter DST setting.
- Use the buttons to cycle through ON, OFF, or AUTO.

3. Timekeeping Mode
This is the primary mode for displaying the current time, date, and day of the week. The display can typically show time in 12-hour or 24-hour format.

6. Stopwatch Mode (STW)
The stopwatch measures elapsed time, split times, and first/second place times. It typically measures up to 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59.99 seconds.
Operations:
- Start/Stop: Press the top-right button.
- Split/Reset: Press the bottom-right button.
- Reset: Press the bottom-right button after stopping.
- Lap/Split Reset: Press the bottom-right button to record a split, then press again to reset.
The stopwatch can measure in 1/100-second increments.
7. Timer Mode (TMR)
The countdown timer can be set for a specific duration, counting down from that time to zero. It can be used for activities like interval training or cooking.
Operations:
- Set Timer Duration: Enter Timer Mode, then use buttons to set hours and minutes.
- Start/Stop: Press the top-right button.
- Reset: Press the bottom-right button to reset to the set duration.
8. World Time Mode
This mode displays the current time in 48 different cities (29 time zones) around the world. You can also set DST for these cities.
Operations:
- Enter World Time Mode.
- Use the buttons to scroll through the city codes.
- The display shows the city code and the current time in that zone.
- DST can be toggled ON/OFF for the selected city.
