1. What's Included and Device Overview

This guide provides instructions for setting up your Imou Ranger 2C security camera. The camera features a lens, microphone, speaker, reset button, SD card slot, and power port. The package typically contains the camera, a power adapter, mounting screws, a mounting bracket, and this quick start guide.

2. Setup Steps

  1. Download the Imou Life App

    Obtain the Imou Life application from your mobile device's app store. Available for download via the [App Store] and [Google Play] platforms.

  2. Create or Log In to Your Account

    Open the Imou Life app. If you are a new user, register for a new account. Existing users should log in.

  3. Add Your Camera

    Within the Imou Life app, tap the '+' icon to begin adding a new device. You can scan the QR code found on the camera itself or manually input the device information.

  4. Connect to Wi-Fi

    Follow the on-screen prompts in the Imou Life app to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network. Ensure you have your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password ready.

  5. Power On and Initialize

    Connect the supplied power adapter to the camera and plug it into a power source. The camera will power on and start its initialization sequence. A status LED indicator will show the camera's current state.

  6. Pair the Camera

    Once initialization is complete, the camera will connect to the network. The Imou Life app will guide you through the final steps to successfully pair and add the camera to your account.

  7. Mounting the Camera (Optional)

    For optimal surveillance coverage, the camera can be mounted using the included bracket and screws. Securely attach the bracket to a wall or ceiling before attaching the camera.
