- Hansgrohe recommends not using the first half-liter of water after prolonged standing periods for drinking purposes.
- To prevent problems with stagnant water in the connection lines, the faucet should be opened to hot and cold water for at least 3 days to achieve a balanced outlet temperature.
- For faucets with aerators, it is recommended to descale and disinfect them monthly. Only use cleaning agents that comply with the relevant regulations for cleaning and disinfection.
- The aerator can create significant aerosols, posing a risk of Legionella exposure. Therefore, its use is not recommended in hospital patient rooms or in any location where Legionella bacteria levels reach the intervention level as defined by the relevant regulations.
