Assembly Instructions
Important Note: It is not recommended to use power tools for assembly. Please ensure screws run smoothly in the threads; if not, readjust the screw. Avoid applying excessive downward pressure.
Step 1: Attach Seat Slider to Base
Insert the provided tube into the bore before inserting the screw. This prevents the screw from slipping into the cavities of the profile. Attach the seat slider mechanism to the base plate assembly using 4x M6x50 screws, 4x toothed washers, and 4x Ø12 washers.
Step 2: Insert Plugs
Insert 8x Ø20 plugs into the designated holes on the base assembly.
Step 3: Attach Optional Arm-Rests
If installing optional arm-rests, attach the arm-rest brackets to the seat assembly. Use 4x M6x35 screws, 4x toothed washers, and 4x Ø12 washers for each arm-rest bracket. This step is symmetrical for both sides.
Step 4: Prepare Frame for Seat Mounting
Insert 4x M8 slot nuts into the mounting channels of the main frame. To access the mounting holes on the seat slider, pull the lever and move the slider parts.
For mounting on an MTX platform, refer to the "Mounting on MTX Platform" section.
Step 5: Mount Seat to Frame (Front)
Align the seat assembly with the frame. Secure the front of the seat assembly to the frame using 2x M8x14 screws.
Step 6: Mount Seat to Frame (Rear)
Secure the rear of the seat assembly to the frame using 2x M8x14 screws.
Step 7: Prepare Frame for Arm-Rest Mounting
Insert 4x M8 slot nuts into the mounting channels of the main frame where the arm-rests will be attached.
Step 8: Attach Arm-Rests to Frame (Side 1)
Align the arm-rest brackets with the frame. Secure the first arm-rest bracket to the frame using 2x M8x14 screws.
Step 9: Attach Arm-Rests to Frame (Side 2)
Secure the second arm-rest bracket to the frame using 2x M8x14 screws.
Mounting on MTX Platform
To prepare the MTX seat underframe for the new pilot seat, remove the red marked profiles.
Position the new seat components on the MTX platform. Ensure a distance of 305 mm between the mounting points as indicated.
Continue with the assembly process as described from Step 4 onwards.
