Daily Maintenance
- Regularly check tire pressure and maintain proper pressure.
- Ensure both brakes are functioning correctly.
- Check the tightness of all screws and nuts.
- Wipe the e-scooter surface with a clean cloth to prevent water from entering electronic elements.
Battery Maintenance
- Turn off the power and avoid full discharge when charging or leaving the e-scooter idle.
- For long-term idle periods, store the e-scooter in a safe place with the battery capacity above 50%. Charge at least every 3 months.
- Avoid using and storing the battery at extreme temperatures.
- Use only the original KuKirin charger.
Regular Overhauling
- Regularly inspect the scooter frame, front fork, and suspension components for damage.
- Monthly overhauling is recommended. Apply a small amount of white lubricant grease or oil into the folding mechanism every 6 months.
Storage
Store the vehicle in a flat, stable, well-ventilated, and dry venue. Avoid direct sunlight or excessively humid places for extended periods. Keep the e-scooter clean.
Brake Calibration
If the braking force is too tight: Loosen the braking arm nut, slightly shorten the brake wire, tighten the nut, and test the brake.
If the braking force is weak: Loosen the braking arm nut, slightly lengthen the brake wire, tighten the nut, and test the brake.
Tire Inflation
If tire pressure is low, inflate the tire using an air pump. Remove valve caps, attach the pump connector to the tire valve, and inflate.
Replace the Foot Board Grip
Remove the rubber pad on the foot board surface to replace the pedal leather.
Shaky Bracket Adjustment
Check and tighten the vertical tube screw and the two folding mechanism screws using a hex wrench if the bracket is loose.
Folding and Unfolding
- Unleash the three safety buckles, press the folding handle downward, and bring down the upright tube.
- Hook the folding hook into the tail hook to complete the folding.
- Open the folding latch to fold the scooter front.
- Fold the scooter body and hook the hook in place.
Transportation and Parking
- Lift the scooter with one or both hands.
- Release the kickstand and park the scooter in the correct place after riding.
