Setup Process

There are six steps to the setup process.

1. Install batteries in the remote control unit

   Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control unit. Insert two R03/AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.

2. Connect the speakers to the amplifier

   Connect speaker cables from your speakers to the SPEAKER terminals (A and B) on the rear of the amplifier. Ensure correct polarity (+ to +, - to -) for each speaker.

   Connecting the speaker cables:

   1. Peel off about 3/8 inch (10 mm) of sheathing from the tip of the speaker cable. Twist the core wire tightly or apply solder to it.
   2. Turn the speaker terminal counterclockwise to loosen it.
   3. Insert the speaker cable's core wire all the way into the speaker terminal.
   4. Turn the speaker terminal clockwise to tighten it securely.

3. Connect the CD player to the amplifier

   Connect the audio output (RCA L/R) of your CD player to the CD input (RCA L/R) on the rear of the amplifier using appropriate RCA cables.

4. Plug the power cord into a power outlet

   Connect the supplied power cord to the AC IN socket on the rear of the amplifier. Then, plug the other end into a household power outlet (e.g., AC 120 V, 60 Hz).

5. Turn the amplifier's power on

   1. Reduce the volume to the minimum level using the volume knob.
   2. Press the power button [power-symbol] to turn the amplifier on.

6. Begin playback

   1. Set the input source to "CD" using the input selector.
   2. Play the CD player. ?
   3. Adjust the volume using the volume knob or remote control [volume-up] [volume-down] buttons.
