Controller Ports
The controller provides various connection options:
Port | Description |
---|---|
(1) USB-B | Establish a USB connection to a computer for CLI use or disaster recovery. |
(2) USB-A | Powered USB 2.0 port. Connect a USB device, such as a webcam or wireless LAN adapter. Can also be used for cascading devices to share a network connection. |
(3) SENSOR | RJ-45 connector. Connect optional environmental sensors or a hub. Some sensors require an RJ-45 adapter. Refer to "Set Thresholds on Sensors" for details on setting up sensors for alerts. |
(4) CONSOLE | RJ-45 connector. Establish a serial connection to a computer. |
