Before First Use
- Wash all accessories in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry them thoroughly.
- The perforated plate and the cutter must remain greased. Coat them with cooking oil.
- Do not switch on the appliance when it is empty or if the mincer plates are not greased.
- Caution: The blades are extremely sharp; handle with great care.
Use: Meat Grinder Head (Fig. 1-9)
- Prepare the food to be minced, removing bones, gristle, and tendons. Cut meat into pieces (approx. 2 cm x 2 cm).
- Press the 0/1 button (3a) to position I to start the appliance.
- Tip: At the end of operation, pass a few pieces of bread through the grinder to extract any remaining ground meat.
Notes:
- Only use the appliance for mincing raw meat. Do not mince cooked meat.
- Do not use the appliance for more than 10 minutes continuously.
What to do if the machine is clogged?
- Stop the meat mincer by pushing the 0/1 button (3a) to position "O" and press the "R" button for a few seconds to release meat.
- Press the 0/1 button to position I to continue mincing.
Use: Sausage Accessory (Fig. 10-15)
Important: This accessory can only be used after the meat has been minced, seasoned, and well mixed.
- Soak the casing in warm water to regain elasticity. Slide it onto the funnel, letting it overhang by about 5 cm (to be sealed by tying a knot).
- Press the 0/1 button (3a) to position I (Fig. 15) to start the appliance and feed the mince through the mincer, following the casing as it fills.
- Note: This work is easier with two people: one to feed the mince, the other to fill the casing.
- Give sausages the desired length by clamping and twisting the casing. For quality sausages, avoid trapping air during filling and make sausages 10 to 15 cm long (separate them by making a knot).
Use: Kebbe Accessory (Fig. 16-17)
- To make kebbe, press the 0/1 button (3a) to position I (Fig. 17).
- Practical tip: To make a fine Kebbe or Kefta paste, run the meat through the mincer two or three times until you obtain the desired smoothness.
Use: Vegetable Chopper (Fig. 18-20)
- To shred, press the 0/1 button (3a) to position I (Fig. 20).
- Useful tips for best results: Ingredients should be firm to obtain satisfactory results and avoid food accumulation. Do not use the appliance to grate or cut very hard food products like sugar cubes or pieces of meat.
