3. Operating Steps
- Clean the device thoroughly before using for the first time. Ensure the device is disconnected from the power socket and has cooled down before cleaning.
- Pour hot water into the water pan to quickly raise the temperature.
- Connect the device to a power socket.
- Adjust the temperature using the temperature button (range: 86°F-197.6°F). During the heating process, the red indicator light will be illuminated. The light turns off once the set temperature has been reached. If the temperature in the water container drops by approximately 59°F, the indicator lamp will come back on, and the water will be heated back up to the set temperature.
- Place the food pan(s) containing cooked food into the water container.
4. Cleaning Steps
- Before cleaning, ensure the device is disconnected from the power socket (pull the power plug) and has cooled down.
- Do not use any acid agents, and ensure no water enters the device.
- Wipe thoroughly with a mild cleaning agent and a soft, dry cloth.
- After cleaning, wipe the device dry.
5. Safety Instructions
- Only use the appliance for its intended purpose as described in this manual.
- The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by incorrect manipulation or inappropriate use.
- Keep the appliance and electrical plug away from water or liquids. If the appliance falls into water, immediately remove the power plug from the socket. Do not use the appliance until it has been checked by a certified technician, as failure to follow these instructions can lead to life-threatening risks.
- Never attempt to dismantle the housing of the appliance yourself.
- Do not touch the plug with wet or damp hands.
DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
- Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself; repairs should only be conducted by qualified personnel.
- Never use a damaged appliance. If damaged, disconnect the appliance from the socket and contact the retailer.
- WARNING! Do not immerse the electrical parts of the appliance in water or other liquids.
- Never hold the appliance under running water.
- Regularly check the power plug and cable for any damage. If damaged, it must be replaced by a service agent or similarly qualified person to avoid danger or injury.
- Ensure the cord does not come into contact with sharp or hot objects and keep it away from open fire. Never pull the power cord to unplug it; always pull the plug.
- Ensure that the power cord and/or extension cord do not create a trip hazard.
- Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
WARNING! As long as the plug is in the socket, the appliance is connected to the power source:
- Turn off the appliance before unplugging it from the socket.
- Connect the power plug to an easily accessible electrical socket so that in case of emergency, the appliance can be unplugged immediately.
- Never carry the appliance by the cord.
- Do not use any extra devices not supplied with the appliance.
- Only connect the appliance to an electrical outlet with the voltage and frequency mentioned on the appliance label.
- Never use accessories other than those recommended by the manufacturer, as failure to do so could pose a safety risk and damage the appliance. Only use original parts and accessories.
- This appliance should not be operated by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or persons lacking experience and knowledge.
- This appliance should not be used by children under any circumstances.
- Keep the appliance and its power cord out of reach of children.
- ALWAYS switch off the appliance and unplug from the power socket before cleaning, maintenance, or storage.
5. Special Safety Regulations
CAUTION! Never use the appliance without water.
- This chafing dish is intended only for keeping food warm.
- Do not use this appliance for:
- Cooking Foods;
- Boiling water;
- Heating or cooking fluids containing sugar, acid, leach, or alcohol;
- Filling or heating inflammable, noxious, volatilizing, or similar fluids or materials.
CAUTION! Hot surface. Risk of burns! Some components, such as the lid, become very hot during operation. To avoid injury, do not touch these surfaces with bare hands.
Warning! Hot steam may escape when serving food; be very careful when removing the lid.
6. Discarding and Environment
When decommissioning the appliance, it must not be disposed of with other household waste. It is your responsibility to dispose of your waste equipment by handing it over to a designated collection point. Failure to follow this rule may result in penalties according to applicable waste disposal regulations.
The separate collection and recycling of your waste equipment at the time of disposal will help conserve natural resources and ensure it is recycled in a manner that protects human health and the environment.
