Congratulations on your purchase of this Max Music product. Please read this manual thoroughly prior to using the product to benefit fully from all its features. Follow the instructions to ensure your warranty remains valid and to avoid fire and electrical shock hazards. Repairs should only be carried out by qualified technicians. Keep this manual for future reference.
Safety Precautions
- Read the manual before use.
- Ask a specialist for advice before initial use. A slight smell may occur upon first use, which is normal and will disappear.
- Do not open the housing as it contains voltage-carrying parts.
- Do not place metal objects or pour liquids into the product to avoid electrical shock and malfunction.
- Keep the product away from heat sources and vibrating surfaces. Do not cover ventilation holes.
- The product is not suitable for continuous use.
- Handle the mains lead with care; a damaged lead can cause electrical shock and malfunction.
- Always pull the plug, never the lead, when unplugging from a mains outlet.
- Do not plug or unplug with wet hands.
- If the plug or mains lead is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified technician.
- If the product is damaged and internal parts are visible, do not plug it in or switch it on. Contact your dealer.
- Do not connect to a rheostat or dimmer.
- Protect the product from rain and moisture to avoid fire and shock hazards.
- All repairs must be carried out by a qualified technician only.
- Connect to an earthed mains outlet (220-240Vac/50Hz) protected by a 10-16A fuse.
- Unplug during thunderstorms or if not used for extended periods.
- If the unit has been unused for a long time, condensation may occur. Allow it to reach room temperature before switching on. Never use in humid rooms or outdoors.
- Do not repeatedly switch the product on and off, as this shortens its lifespan.
- Keep out of reach of children and do not leave unattended.
- Do not use cleaning sprays on switches; residues can cause dust and grease buildup. Seek professional advice for malfunctions.
- Operate with clean hands. Do not force controls.
- If the product has fallen, have it checked by a qualified technician before reuse.
- Do not use chemicals for cleaning; use a dry cloth only.
- Keep away from electronic equipment that may cause interference.
- Use only original spare parts for repairs to avoid serious damage or dangerous radiation.
- Switch off the product before unplugging. Unplug all leads and cables before moving.
- Ensure the mains lead cannot be damaged by people walking on it. Check the lead for damage before each use.

Unpacking Instructions
Carefully unpack the box upon receipt. Check contents to ensure all parts are present and in good condition. Notify the shipper immediately and retain packaging material if any parts appear damaged. Save the package and all packaging materials. If the product must be returned, it is important that it is returned in the original factory box and packaging. If the device has been exposed to drastic temperature fluctuations (e.g., after transportation), do not switch it on immediately. Condensation may damage the device. Leave the device switched off until it has reached room temperature.
Power Supply
The label on the bottom of the product indicates the type of power supply to which it must be connected. Ensure your mains voltage corresponds. Connecting to other voltages may cause irreparable damage. The product must be directly connected to the mains, without a dimmer or adjustable power supply. Always connect the device to a protected circuit (circuit breaker or fuse). Ensure the device has appropriate electrical grounding to avoid the risk of electrocution or fire.
Controls
The keyboard features a control panel with various buttons and controls:
- MASTER VOLUME: Press [Master Vol +] or [Master Vol -] to adjust the master volume.
- TEMPO: Press [Tempo +] or [Tempo -] to increase or decrease the rhythm speed.
- TONE (T 00-07/T 08-15): Press to select a tone.
- CHORD:
- Single finger chord: Press [R00-R09] to select a rhythm, then press [SINGLE]. Play any of the first 1-20 keys on the left side to start the chord.
- Finger chord: Press [R00-R09] to select a rhythm, then press [FINGER]. Play according to the fingering of any of the first 1-20 keys on the left side to start the chord.
- TEACHING: Press [TEACHING] and then any white key to play background music from the demos. You can play any key, and it will be automatically corrected to match the demo. This mode helps you practice and learn the demos.
- FOLLOW: Press [FOLLOW] and then any white key. Background music from the demos will play, and you can play along to follow the music.
- STOP: Press [STOP] in RHYTHM, PLAY, DEMO, SINGLE, FINGER, FOLLOW, and TEACHING modes to exit the current mode.
- FILL IN: Press [R00-R09] to select a rhythm, then press [FILL-IN] to add percussion to the rhythm.
- RECORD: Press [RECORD] to record your playing.
- PROGRAM: Press [PROGRAM] to enter this mode, then press the percussion buttons to record your own percussions.
- PLAY: Press [PLAY] to playback recorded notes or rhythms.
- DRUM COMBINATION: Features 8 percussions with 8 different buttons.
- DEMO: Press [DEMO] to play the first song and enter single cycle mode. The song will replay upon completion. Press [STOP] to stop. There are 6 demos in total.
- RHYTHM: There are 10 rhythms in total. Press [R00-R09] to choose a rhythm.
- SPEAKERS: Reproduce the sound of the music played. Sound level is determined by the volume setting.
Connections
- DC INPUT: Socket for plugging in the supplied micro USB power cable.
- POWER ON/OFF: Switch to turn the keyboard on or off.
- MICROPHONE INPUT: Connect a microphone to the MIC port to sing while playing.
- HEADPHONES/OUTPUT: Connecting headphones to the PHONES/OUTPUT port will automatically disable the loudspeaker. You can perform without disturbing others or being disturbed.
Start Playing
Press the power switch ON/OFF and play any white or black key. If you hear a piano sound, the keyboard is working.
Sleep Function
- If the keyboard is not played for more than 3 minutes, it will automatically enter sleep mode.
- To wake it up, press any white or black key.
