This Quick Start Guide provides essential information for using your Monster Open Ear AC228 Bluetooth Headphones. Please read it carefully and keep it for future reference.

- Charging case x1
- Earphones x2 (L & R)
- USB-C cable x1
- Quick start guide and Warning card
Charging
Before first use, connect the USB-C cable to a power adapter to charge the earphones and the charging case. The charging case has a USB-C port.
Wearing
Place the "Monster Open Ear AC228" onto your ears and rotate to fit comfortably for the best wearing and sound quality experience.
Power On/Off
When the earphones are taken out of the charging case, they will turn on and pair with each other automatically. To turn off the earphones, place them back into the charging case. They will then power off and begin charging.
Pairing
The earphones turn on automatically when removed from the charging case.
Initial Connection:
- Turn on Bluetooth on your device.
- Select "Monster Open Ear AC228" from the Bluetooth list to connect.
- You will hear system prompts after the earphones are connected.
Automatic Reconnection: If the earphones have been connected previously, they will automatically connect to the last connected device after being turned on.
MFB Operation (Multi-Function Button)
Answer call: Press L/R once.
End call: Press L/R once.
Voice Assistant: Press and hold MFB on the left or right earphone for 2 seconds.
Reject call: Press L/R twice.
LED Indicator Guide
Earphone LED Indicator:
- Power on: White flashes
- Pairing is successful: White flashes
- Pairing timed out: Red light on for 2s and then turns off
- Connection is over distance: Red light flashes slowly
- Disconnect the phone: White flashes
- Low battery: Red light flashes slowly
- Low power off: Red light on for 2s and then turns off
Charging Case LED Indicator:
- Charging: Red light flashes slowly. When fully charged, the red light stays on and then turns off.
- Discharge (charging earphones): The white light stays on. When earphones are fully charged, the white light turns off.
Reset
In the power-on state, touch the MFB of both earphones 5 times simultaneously. The earphones will automatically enter pairing mode to reset.
Attention & Safety Information
- Private replacement of batteries without permission is not recommended.
- Batteries [battery packs or battery combinations] should not be exposed to direct sunlight, baking, or similar overheating environments.
- The input voltage and current standard for charging the headset charging compartment from an external power source should be ≤ 5V/1A.
