Using your EVGA XR1 Lite with OBS (Open Broadcaster Software®)
OBS is a free and open source software solution for video recording and live streaming, recommended by EVGA for use with the EVGA XR1 Lite Capture Card.
To get started, download the OBS software from: https://obsproject.com/download
Upon first launch after downloading and installing OBS, an auto-configuration wizard will guide you through setting up the most appropriate settings for your PC. These settings can be adjusted later. Refer to the EVGA XR1 Lite Capture Card's Quick Guide for instructions on connecting your device to the capture card and your streaming device.
By default, OBS does not capture video. You need to enable your EVGA XR1 Lite Capture Card by adding it as a source. Click the '+' icon or right-click within the "Sources" box, then select "Add Device" and choose your EVGA XR1 Lite Capture Card.
Device Layout
Front/Side View:
- HDMI Out: Connect to a display.
- USB Type-C: Connect to your PC.
- LED Indicator: Shows device status.
Back/Side View:
- HDMI In: Connect your game source or camera.
Configuration Set Up
For Desktop/Laptop
Connect your PC via USB Type-C to the EVGA XR1 Lite. Connect your display to the HDMI Out port. Connect your game source (PC or console) to the HDMI In port.
For Game Consoles
Connect your PC via USB Type-C to the EVGA XR1 Lite. Connect your display to the HDMI Out port. Connect your game console (Game Source) to the HDMI In port.
For Video Conference
Connect your PC via USB Type-C to the EVGA XR1 Lite. Connect your digital camera recorder or digital camera to the HDMI In port.
