Control Dial Function
The control dial allows for various adjustments:
- Up Arrow [⬆️]: Select Lighting Effect
- Down Arrow [⬇️]: Select Lighting Effect
- Left Arrow [⬅️]: Switch to Adjust the Volume of Mic In
- Right Arrow [➡️]: Switch to Adjust Volume of Console Party Link
- Rotational/Press [?]: Volume Adjustment Mode: Control the Volume of Mic In / Console Party Link. Lighting Adjustment Mode: Control the LED Lighting Effect / Speed.
- Press and Hold 10s [⏳]: Factory Reset
- Press [?]: Disable / Enable Mic In
The dial's directional controls (up, down, left, right) and rotational/press functions are illustrated.

Device Layout
The EVGA XR1 PRO features the following ports:
- HDMI Out: Connect to display.
- HDMI In: Connect to game source or PC.
- USB Type-C: Connect to PC for data transfer.
- Mic-In/Line-Out: For microphone or audio output.
- Console Party Link: For console party chat audio.

Configuration Set Up for Desktop/Laptop
Connect your Display to HDMI Out. Connect your Game Source to HDMI In. Connect the EVGA XR1 PRO to your PC via USB Type-C. Connect your Headset to Mic-In/Line-Out.

Configuration Set Up for Game Consoles
Connect your Display to HDMI Out. Connect your Game Console (e.g., PS5, Xbox) to HDMI In. Connect the EVGA XR1 PRO to your PC via USB Type-C. Connect your Headset to Mic-In/Line-Out. Connect your Controller to Console Party Link for party chat audio.

Configuration Set Up for Video Conference
Connect your Digital Camera Recorder/Digital Camera to HDMI In. Connect the EVGA XR1 PRO to your PC via USB Type-C. Connect your Headset to Mic-In/Line-Out. The "Not Applicable" label indicates no direct output for display in this configuration.

Using your EVGA XR1 PRO with OBS (Open Broadcaster Software®)
OBS is a free and open-source software for video recording and live streaming, recommended by EVGA for the XR1 PRO Capture Card.
Download OBS from: https://obsproject.com/download
Upon first launch, OBS features an auto-configuration wizard to optimize settings for your PC. These settings can be adjusted later.
By default, OBS does not capture video. To enable the EVGA XR1 PRO Capture Card, add it as a source. Click the '+' icon or right-click within the "Sources" box, select "Add Device," and choose your EVGA XR1 PRO Capture Card.
