Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the ROLINE Wireless Extender Set. This device facilitates seamless wireless transmission of HDMI signals up to 1080p resolution over a distance of 20 meters. It is designed for cross-platform compatibility, supporting Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS devices via USB-C with DP Alt Mode.
Product Components
The ROLINE Wireless Extender Set includes:
- Transmitter (TX): Features USB-C with DP Alt Mode for connectivity to PCs and tablets. Includes a Reset Key and a Pair and Screen On/Off Button.
- Receiver (RX): Provides an HDMI connection for TV and monitor compatibility. Includes a Reset Button and a USB-A 5V Power Supply connection.
Pairing Process
Follow these steps to pair the TX and RX dongles:
- Initiate the RX Dongle: Connect the RX dongle to the power source via USB-A. After booting, the main interface will appear.
- Initiate the TX Dongle: Connect the TX dongle to your device via USB-C. Press and hold the Pair and Screen On/Off button on the TX for approximately 5 seconds until the light stops flashing, then it will flash faster. Release the button to begin pairing.
- Confirmation: Once pairing is successful, "Pairing OK" will be displayed on the monitor, and the content from the TX device's screen will be mirrored to the monitor.
Operating with Dual TX Dongles
This set supports operating with two TX dongles simultaneously:
- Pair Second TX Dongle: Connect the second TX dongle to a new device. Follow the same pairing procedure as above to connect it to the RX dongle.
- Switch Mirroring: To switch between paired devices, press the Pair and Screen On/Off button on the connected device to display the pairing prompt, then press the button on the device you wish to connect to. The screen will then mirror the content of the newly selected device.
