Initial Smart Life App Setup

Download the Smart Life App
Search for "Smart Life" on your Android or iOS device and download the free app.

Open the Smart Life App
Create an account or log in with an existing account to begin timer setup.

Enter configuration Mode
Long press the ON/OFF button for 6 seconds until the green light flashes quickly to enter pairing mode.

Add a Device
Tap "Add device" or "+" in the app. Select "Industry&Agriculture" > "Water valve controller (WIFI)". Wait for the connection to complete (100%). You can then edit the name of your water timer.
Ensure your Wi-Fi is set to 2.4GHz and enter your password.
The device will be added successfully.

Setting Watering Programs
Normal Schedule
Press the "Timing" button and then "+" to set a "Normal Schedule" watering program.
You can configure:
- Start Time
- Irrigation Duration (e.g., 10 mins)
- Irrigation Frequency (select days of the week)
Example: Irrigation for 10 mins every Monday and Thursday at 9:00 AM. Up to 10 normal schedules can be set.
Cycle/Soak
This program breaks watering into multiple cycles to allow soil to soak effectively.
You can configure:
- Irrigation Period (Start Time and End Time)
- Irrigation Frequency (select days of the week)
- Irrigation Duration (e.g., 5 mins)
- Pause Duration (e.g., 6 hours)
Example: During 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, the timer cycles watering for 5 minutes and pauses for 6 hours. Watering occurs at 10:00-10:05 AM and 4:05-4:10 PM.
Initial Water Timer Setup

Insert Batteries
The timer requires four alkaline AA batteries (not included). Install them in the battery tray according to the diagrams and reinsert the tray.

Install the Timer
Connect the timer to an outdoor hose faucet. It is compatible with standard hose faucets.
Important Note: Do not place the timer in an underground valve box or any location where the WIFI signal may be obstructed. ?

Turn on Your Water Hose Faucet
The water hose faucet must remain on for the timer to function correctly.
Additional Water Timer Features
Manual Watering
Manually water without disrupting programmed schedules. Use for testing or temporary watering. Press the ON/OFF button to activate. The duration can be set in the app.
Stop Watering
Press the ON/OFF button once to stop the water flow at any time, whether during manual or programmed watering.
Rain Delay
Set a delay for 24, 48, or 72 hours due to rain. The timer will resume its schedule after the delay period.
Warm Tips
- When expecting freezing temperatures, remove the timer from the faucet and store it indoors to prevent freeze damage.
- Clean the filter regularly and replace it if worn.
- Do not mix battery types (alkaline, carbon-zinc, rechargeable).
- Remove and properly dispose of used or dead batteries.
Troubleshooting
- Programming is incorrect
- Water pressure is too low
- Particles of dirt or debris stuck in valve
- More than one start time is programmed with overlapping schedules
- Manual watering is on
- Faulty valve
- The faucet is off
- The O-ring is connected correctly to the hose tap.
- The connection outlet or water pipe is broken.
- The faucet and water pipe have different threads. Use an appropriate adapter or PTFE tape if necessary.
- The network is working correctly.
- The timer is too far from the router, causing an unstable signal.
- The delay is within 30 seconds, which is considered normal.
