Functions

1. Backlight Display

Press the touch button located on the top of the device to activate the backlight, which remains illuminated for approximately 8 seconds. After the backlight is triggered, the displayed temperature and humidity values are locked for 2 minutes.

2. Temp & Humidity Records

Access historical temperature and humidity data that has been stored for up to one year. This data can also be exported to your email address for further analysis.

3. Temp & Humidity Alarm

Configure custom upper and lower limit thresholds for temperature and humidity. The device will send an instant alarm notification to your app if the measured values fall outside these preset limits.

4. Temperature Unit Switch

You can switch the temperature display unit between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) within the app's settings. Alternatively, a single press of the reset button on the device will synchronize the temperature unit displayed on both the device screen and within the app.

5. Temp & Humidity Calibration

If necessary, you can calibrate the temperature and humidity readings through the app's settings. Select the desired calibration value, then press the reset button once. The calibrated temperature or humidity reading will then be synchronized to both the device's screen and the app.

6. 12/24-Hour System Switch

Double-press the reset button to toggle between the 12-hour and 24-hour time display formats. A subsequent single press of the reset button will report the current temperature and humidity, and the selected time display format will be saved.

7. Smart Linkage

Create automated routines or "scenes" that link the TH08Pro with other compatible smart home devices, such as a Smart IR Remote control. For instance, you can set up a rule where if the indoor temperature rises above 30°C, the air conditioner automatically turns on.

Example scene configuration involves setting a condition like "If TH08Pro Temperature > 30.0°C" to trigger an action like "Turn on Air Conditioner."

8. Low Battery Reminder

When the device's battery power level drops below 20%, an alert message will be sent to the app, prompting you to replace the batteries in a timely manner.

9. Supports Alexa / Google Speaker

The sensor is compatible with voice assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. You can ask for current readings using commands such as:

10. Comfort Level Display

The device provides an intuitive comfort level indicator on its screen. The indoor environment is considered comfortable when the temperature is greater than 18°C (64.4°F) and less than or equal to 28°C (82.4°F), and the humidity is greater than 40% and less than or equal to 65%. The display will indicate when the temperature and humidity are outside these ranges.
