Firmware Update for Intelbras Projectors

Applicable Models

This guide is applicable to the following Intelbras projector models:

• PFL 5211
• PFL 6430
• PFL 6520
• PFL 7560

Necessary Equipment

To perform the firmware update, you will need:

• 1x USB Pendrive (FAT32 format)
• 1x Projector and its respective accessories

File Installation

Follow these steps to download and prepare the firmware file:

1. Visit the Intelbras website: https://www.intelbras.com/pt-br/
2. Search for your specific projector model on the website.
3. Navigate to the product page and scroll to the bottom to find the "Download Files" section.
4. Locate the "Firmware" topic and click the download button for the firmware file. The file will typically be in a '.bin' format.
5. After downloading, extract the firmware file to your desktop or a readily accessible folder.
6. Inside the extracted folder, verify that the '.bin' file corresponds to your projector's model. For example, if you are updating the PFL7560, ensure the file is named appropriately (e.g., PFL7560.bin).
7. Connect your FAT32 formatted USB Pendrive to your computer.
8. Drag and drop the correct '.bin' firmware file onto the USB Pendrive.

Note: The example in the tutorial uses the PFL7560, but the process is valid for all listed models.

Update Procedure

Follow these steps to update the projector's firmware:

1. Connect the USB Pendrive containing the '.bin' file to a USB port on your projector.
2. On the projector's interface, select the settings icon (⚙️).

   Visual Description: The projector's main menu displays options like 'Home', 'Video', 'Audio', 'Image', 'Mirroring', and a settings icon (gear symbol).

3. Select the "System" icon.

   Visual Description: Within the system settings, there are icons for 'Bluetooth', 'Projection', 'System', and 'Settings'. The 'System' icon is highlighted.

4. Within the system menu, select the option "Local system update" (Atualização local do sistema).

   Visual Description: The system menu shows "Firmware update found: PFL7560.bin", followed by "Local system update" and "Restore factory settings". The "Local system update" option is highlighted.

5. A confirmation prompt will appear asking if you want to continue with the update. Select "Yes" (Sim).

   Visual Description: A warning message appears: "Attention! Do not turn off the product while it is being updated. Would you like to continue?" with "Yes" and "No" options. "Yes" is selected.

Important: Do not turn off the projector during the firmware update process.

Verification

After the update is complete, verify the installed software version:

1. Select the "Settings" (Configurações) option.
2. Within settings, find and select "System Information" (Informações do sistema).
3. Confirm that the installed software version matches the version indicated on the Intelbras website.
