Introduction
Welcome to the AUVON DS-W Blood Glucose Monitoring System. This user manual is designed to provide comprehensive guidance on using the AUVON Glucose Monitoring System for accurate blood sugar testing. Please read the instructions carefully before use.
Getting Started & Intended Use
Thank you for choosing the AUVON DS-W Blood Glucose Monitoring System (BGM). This system is intended for the quantitative measurement of glucose in fresh capillary whole blood samples, typically drawn from fingertips, forearm, or palm. It is designed for self-testing outside the body (in vitro diagnostic use) by individuals with diabetes at home, serving as an aid to monitor the effectiveness of diabetes control. The system is intended for use by a single person and should not be shared. It is not intended for the diagnosis or screening of diabetes or for neonatal use. Alternative site testing should only be performed during steady-state times when glucose levels are not changing rapidly.
