Product Information:
- Windows Products: To learn more about Windows and access help topics, select the Start button ?, select All apps, and then select Tips or Get help (requires a network connection).

Locating System Information
System information is on the service tag or located in one of the following places: on the bottom of the computer, on the back of the display, inside the battery compartment, or under the service door. The tag may be on paper or etched on the product. On some Windows products, you can briefly press the fn+esc key combination to display the System Information screen.

Safety Warnings
Electrical Shock Hazard:
- Plug the power cord into an AC power outlet that you can easily access at all times.
- If the power cord has a 3-prong plug, connect it to a 3-prong, grounded electrical outlet (grounded outlet).

Heat or Overheating Hazard: To reduce the possibility of injury from heat or overheating of the computer, do not place it directly on your lap or obstruct the computer's ventilation openings. Use the computer on a flat, hard surface only. Do not allow any hard surface, such as an optional adjacent printer, or a soft surface, such as pillows, carpets, or clothing, to block airflow. Also, do not allow the AC adapter to come into contact with skin or a soft surface such as pillows, carpets, or clothing during operation. The computer and AC adapter supplied by HP comply with the user-accessible surface temperature limits defined by applicable safety standards.

Simplified Declaration of Conformity: The regulatory model number (RMN) for this equipment is HSN-I60C or HSN-I61C. HP hereby declares that this equipment is in compliance with Directive 2014/53/EU. Software Terms of Use: By installing, copying, downloading, or otherwise using any preinstalled software product on this computer, you agree to be bound by the terms of the HP End-User License Agreement (EULA). If you do not accept these license terms, your sole recourse is to return the entire unused product (hardware and software) within 14 days for a full refund subject to your seller's refund policy. HP Services Scan: HP Services Scan is provided with Windows Update on select products and will check entitlement on each hardware device to determine if an HP TechPulse-enabled service has been purchased, and will automatically download the applicable software. HP TechPulse is a telemetry and analytics platform that provides critical device and application data. For full system requirements or to disable this feature, visit http://www.hpdaas.com/requirements. Not applicable in China.
Limited Warranty: In some countries or regions, HP may provide a printed warranty in the box. Initial Setup
Before pressing the power button to turn on the computer for the first time, connect the HP AC adapter supplied with the computer (on select products only) or an adapter of a minimum of 65 W to a maximum of 100 W, depending on your product.
Select the Network icon ? in the lower-right corner of the taskbar and then connect to one of the available networks.
To set up a WLAN and connect to the Internet, you need a broadband modem (DSL or cable, purchased separately), an Internet service from an Internet service provider, and a wireless router (purchased separately).

- 4 Ambient Light and Color Sensor: Adjusts screen brightness and color based on surroundings.
- 5 Internal Wireless Antenna(s)*: For Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
- 6 Cameras (2): For video conferencing and other visual tasks.
- 7 Power Button/Fingerprint Reader*: Turns the computer on/off and allows biometric login.
- 8 Windows Copilot Key**: Dedicated key to launch Windows Copilot.
- 9 Touchpad: Integrated pointing device.
- Windows Key: Opens the Start menu.
- HDMI Port: For connecting to external displays.
- USB Type-C Thunderbolt Ports (2): High-speed data transfer, display output, and power delivery.
- Battery Indicator Light: Shows battery status.
- Combo Audio-Out (Headphone)/Audio-In (Microphone) Jack: For connecting audio devices.
- Magnetic Pen Attachment Area and nano SIM Card Slot: For stylus storage and cellular connectivity.
- USB Type-C Port: For data transfer and charging.
- USB Port: Standard USB port for peripherals.
- Security Cable Slot: For physical security.
- Speakers (2): For audio output.
- Ventilation Opening: Allows for heat dissipation.

Windows Start Screen Navigation:
Depending on your product, you can use a keyboard and mouse, a touchpad, or a touchscreen to navigate the Windows Start screen.
- VIEW THE START MENU: Select the Start button ?.
- FIND SETTINGS: Select the Start button ?, and then select the Settings icon ⚙️.
- SHUT DOWN YOUR COMPUTER: Select the Start button ?, select the Power icon ?, and then select Shut down.
- SEARCH: Select the Search icon ? on the taskbar, and then type the name of an app, setting, file, or Internet topic in the search box.
- SWITCH BETWEEN OPEN APPS: Select the Task View icon ?.
Windows screen features and appearance vary depending on the operating system version and any additional software installed on your computer.
Gestures:
Some computers support a touchscreen, but some computers, applications, and files may not support all touch gestures.
TOUCHPAD OR TOUCHSCREEN:
- Tap or double-tap to select.
- Pinch to zoom in or out.
TOUCHSCREEN ONLY:
- Swipe to scroll.
TOUCHPAD ONLY:
- Tap to right-click.
- Swipe to navigate.
