Safety Guidelines
Please read the following safety guidelines carefully to ensure safe and correct use of the Cutting Module.
General Safety
- Keep your workspace clean and ensure the stability of tables and shelves where the device is placed.
- Always inspect the device for any damage before use. Stop using it immediately if damaged.
- Do not disassemble or modify the device without guidance from official after-sales support.
- The Cutting Module operates within a temperature range of 0°C to 30°C and stores between -10°C to +40°C. Avoid operating or storing the module outside these temperature ranges or in strong magnetic fields to prevent damage.
Cutting Safety
- Do not use the Cutting Module if it is not installed correctly, the locking mechanism is not engaged, or the detection structure is not in place.
- Do not hold materials by hand during cutting.
- If the Cutting Module becomes stuck or obstructed, immediately cut off the printer's power. Wait for all moving parts to stop before disconnecting the module's cable. Only then should you handle the module and material.
- When removing the blade from the blade holder, first use the included rubber protective cover to cover the blade, then carefully remove it to avoid injury. Visit the official Wiki for detailed instructions.
- After removing the blade, ensure the rubber protective cover is fully secured over the blade and store it in a location inaccessible to children to prevent injury.
- Before starting a cut, ensure the material is properly secured to prevent it from coming loose during cutting, which could damage the equipment or cause personal injury.
- When removing material, be mindful of the blade's position to avoid injury.

Installation Guide
Step 1: Lower Heat Bed Height
Description: The diagram shows the printer's heat bed lowering downwards inside the printer chamber.
Instruction: Lower the heat bed height on the printer's screen. This creates sufficient space and prevents the cutting blade from damaging the cutting mat.
Step 2: Install Cutting Mat
Description: The diagram shows the print plate being removed from the heat bed. Then, the cutting mat is placed onto the heat bed, with two corners aligning with built-in limit blocks on the heat bed.
Instruction: Remove the print plate. Place the cutting mat onto the heat bed, ensuring the two corners align with the heat bed's limit blocks. Retain the protective film from both sides of the mat. When not using the cutting function, reapply the protective film to the mat to prevent dust accumulation and maintain its adhesion.
Step 3: Install Cutting Module
Description: The diagram shows the user pressing the top corners of the cutting module's front cover, then pulling the cover off.
Instruction: Press the top two corners of the front cover and remove it.
Step 4: Install Cutting Module
Description: The diagram shows the quick-release latch being moved to the unlocked position. The cutting module is then aligned with the tool head's guide slot and slid downwards until fully seated. A "Click!" sound is indicated.
Instruction: Adjust the quick-release latch to the unlocked state. Align the cutting module with the tool head's guide slot and slide the module in from top to bottom until it is fully seated.
Step 5: Install Cutting Module
Description: The diagram shows the "Click!" indicator on the module aligning with a scale line on the tool head. The quick-release latch is then pushed down to lock.
Instruction: Ensure the cutting module's "Click!" indicator aligns with the tool head's scale line, then push down to lock the quick-release latch.
Step 6: Install Cutting Module
Description: The diagram shows a dust cover being opened on the tool head's expansion interface, and the connection cable being inserted into the port.
Instruction: Open the dust cover at the tool head's expansion interface and insert the connection cable.
Step 7: Install Cutting Module
Description: The diagram shows the protective cover being removed from the blade holder. A warning about the sharp blade is displayed.
Instruction: Remove the protective cover from the blade holder. Caution: The blade is extremely sharp. Handle with care to avoid injury! It is recommended to save this protective cover and use it to cover the entire blade holder when not in use.
Using the Pen Function
Description: The diagram shows the cutting module with the pen module attached, ready for drawing.
Instruction: To use the drawing function, replace the cutting module's blade holder with the pen module.
Installing the Pen Module
Description: The diagram shows the height adjustment block being removed from the pen adapter and reattached to the bottom of the adapter.
Instruction: Remove the height adjustment block from the pen adapter and install it at the bottom of the adapter.
Installing the Pen Module
Description: The diagram shows the pen lock being loosened, the pen inserted fully, and the lock being tightened.
Instruction: Counter-clockwise loosen the pen lock. Insert the pen all the way in, then clockwise tighten the lock.
Installing the Pen Module
Description: The diagram shows the blade holder being gripped by its circular edge and pulled downwards to remove it from the tool head. A warning about the sharp blade is displayed.
Instruction: Grip the circular edge of the blade holder and pull it downwards to remove it. Caution: The blade is extremely sharp. Handle with care to avoid injury!
Installing the Pen Module
Description: The diagram shows the pen being inserted into the cutting module after the height adjustment block was removed.
Instruction: With the pen height adjustment block removed, insert the pen into the cutting module until it is fully seated.
Initial Calibration and Usage
After installing the Cutting Module for the first time, calibration is required for normal operation. Follow the on-screen prompts for the calibration process. For more detailed tutorials on calibration and usage, please refer to the Wiki page:
Regular Maintenance
Regular maintenance is essential to extend the lifespan and maintain the optimal working condition of the Cutting Module.
Tool Head Mount
Periodically check if the tool head mount is properly installed. Ensure the quick-release latch is locked and the module does not wobble. If it wobbles, tighten the screws of the quick-release latch.
Blade Holder
Periodically check for debris near the blade holder. If found, unscrew the end cap and clean the debris to prevent accumulation that may hinder blade rotation.
Consumables
- Cutting Mat: Regularly check the mat's adhesion and replace it as needed to ensure proper material fixation.
- Blade: The blade tip will wear down over time, reducing cutting quality. Replace the blade regularly to maintain cutting quality.
- Material: Different materials can affect blade lifespan. Consult the official Wiki for more information.
