Samsung "Buy One Get One 30% Off" Promotion Rules

I. Introduction

This document outlines the complete rules for the marketing promotion titled "Buy One Get One 30% Off" (hereinafter referred to as the "Promotion").

The organizer of this promotion is Samsung Electronics Czech and Slovak, s.r.o., with its registered office at V parku 2323/14, Chodov, 148 00 Prague 4, Company ID: 289 87 322, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, file no. C 158046 (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer").

Any natural person over 18 years of age residing or with a delivery address in the Czech Republic, or any legal entity that is an entrepreneur within the meaning of Section 420 et seq. of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "Civil Code"), (e.g., self-employed, business company) with a place of business or registered office in the Czech Republic, who meets the conditions for participation in the Promotion, may become a participant of the Promotion (hereinafter referred to as the "Participant"). Persons under 18 years of age may participate in the Promotion only with the written consent of their legal representative. Persons employed or in a similar employment relationship or persons close to the Organizer or companies involved in any marketing, sales, or advertising activity of the Organizer, as well as persons in any kinship or similar relationship with these persons, especially those specified in Section 22 of the Civil Code, are excluded from participation.

II. Promotion Period and Location

The Promotion runs on the e-shop www.samsung.com/cz (hereinafter referred to as the "Promotion Venue") from July 9, 2025, 16:00 CET until July 31, 2025, or until stocks are depleted (hereinafter referred to as the "Promotion Period").

The Promotion may be terminated earlier (i.e., before the end of the Promotion Period) under the conditions specified in Article IV, paragraph 3 of these rules.

The Promotion may be extended beyond the Promotion Period under the conditions specified in Article IV, paragraph 3 of these rules.

III. Promotion Flow and Conditions

The Promotion applies only to Samsung brand products (i) from the CE category – i.e., home appliances (especially televisions, soundbars, projectors, refrigerators, washing machines – only selected products, see https://www.samsung.com/cz/, dryers, vacuum cleaners, dishwashers, and built-in appliances), (ii) from the IT category – monitors – only selected products, see https://www.samsung.com/cz/, memory devices and storage, and (iii) mobile devices (phones, tablets, watches, headphones) excluding products excluded from this Promotion – see the table below, all only at the Promotion Venue, which are in stock during the Promotion Period. The Promotion does not apply to (i) all accessories for mobile phones, tablets, watches, and (ii) third-party products and services. The Promotion also does not apply to the purchase of gift vouchers. The following specific products from the mobile phones, mobile phone accessories, and tablets categories are also excluded from the Promotion:

How to use the discount in the Promotion:

When purchasing at least two products (included in this Promotion) on the www.samsung.com/cz e-shop, the Participant will receive a 30% discount on the cheapest product added to the cart. The discount will be automatically calculated and applied in the cart (after meeting the conditions stated in these Promotion rules). Participation in the Promotion is conditional upon purchasing at least 2 Samsung brand products to which this Promotion applies, during the Promotion Period.

The discount is applied upon purchasing products included in the Promotion (see Article III, paragraph 1) during the Promotion Period.

Purchasing a product means ordering and subsequently duly paying for the placed order. If the Participant does not duly pay for the ordered products, they acknowledge and agree that the order will be canceled by the Organizer without further notice, and the Participant's right to the discount (as well as any potential further claims) under this Promotion will be forfeited due to non-fulfillment of its conditions.

In the event that a product included in the Promotion is sold out, the Promotion no longer applies to that product, and it is not possible to claim the discount after the Promotion Period, even if it is restocked.

If a consumer exercises their statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days (without stating a reason), it is understood (and the Participant acknowledges with regard to the discount provided for the purchase of 2 or more products) that they are withdrawing from the entire contract and must return all received products. If the legal regulations in a specific case allow the Participant to partially withdraw from the contract without stating a reason (i.e., only for a specific product), the Participant will not have met the Promotion conditions for applying the discount in such a case and must pay the difference to the full price of the returned product within 7 days of withdrawing from the contract (if the withdrawal from the contract does not concern the discounted product), or the Organizer is entitled to take this into account when refunding part of the purchase price within the scope of offsetting mutual claims, to which the Participant agrees by entering the Promotion.

To ensure that the Organizer can satisfy as many customers as possible within the Promotion and to prevent speculative purchases, the following limits are set: (i) Within this Promotion, in accordance with the rules, the Participant is entitled to create and purchase only one order (i.e., make only one advantageous purchase) during the Promotion Period and thus apply a maximum of one discount, as described in Article III, paragraph 2 of these rules. Furthermore, (ii) in accordance with the rules, the Participant is entitled to purchase only 1 unit of the same product within their order, i.e., the purchase of multiple identical products is excluded from the Promotion (different color variants of products are not considered different products), meaning each product (model) can only be purchased once in an order, regardless of the chosen color variant, as each product has its specific model designation. Additionally, (iii) specifically for the mobile device category (phones, tablets, watches, headphones, excluding products excluded from this Promotion – see attached table), the Participant is entitled to purchase only 1 device per individual mobile device subcategory within their order (e.g., it is possible to purchase 1 phone together with 1 tablet, 1 phone together with 1 watch, etc., or it is possible to combine 1 device from the mobile device category with the purchase of a product from another product category). The Organizer is entitled to assess and unilaterally decide on compliance with the aforementioned limits, for example, by checking the unique email, phone number, company ID/tax ID, delivery/billing address of the Participant.

This Promotion cannot be combined with other promotional offers or discounts (e.g., "gift for a crown" with purchase, cashback, voucher redemption, etc.).

IV. Final Provisions

The Organizer does not assume any other obligations towards the Participants, and the Participants have no right to any benefits from the Organizer other than those stated in these rules.

The Organizer is not responsible for the loading speed or data transmission of the websites.

The Organizer reserves the right to extend, shorten, interrupt, or cancel the Promotion, or to change its rules, even without giving a reason. In case of changes to the terms and rules, Participants will be informed by the Organizer through a notification at the Promotion Venue.

The Organizer is entitled to verify compliance with all conditions for participation in the Promotion and, in case of dispute, to assess and make a final decision on any issue related to the Promotion. The Organizer, as the seller, has the right not to include, or to refuse (including subsequent cancellation of) orders created by the Participant in violation of these Promotion rules.

The General Terms and Conditions and the Complaint Procedure of the Organizer valid at the Promotion Venue apply to the Promotion, unless expressly stated otherwise in these rules. In the event that the Participant exercises their right to claim for a defect of one or all products after delivery, and this claim is recognized as justified by the seller, the claim will be handled in accordance with the legal regulations and the complaint procedure. If the defect cannot be remedied and the claim is not resolved even by replacing the product with a defect-free one (i.e., by delivering a product of the same type or, in the case of long-term unavailability of a product of the same type, by delivering a product of a similar or higher series by agreement of the parties, or by issuing a voucher for the purchase of other goods), the Participant will be entitled, in accordance with the legal regulations and the complaint procedure, to withdraw from the contract regarding the defective product, and the purchase price paid by them for the product will be refunded (i.e., the purchase price of the product reduced by the relevant discount according to this Promotion). This partial withdrawal from the contract will not affect the remaining (defect-free) products purchased within the Promotion, nor the discount provided for the remaining (defect-free) products.

By participating in the Promotion, the Participant expresses their consent to the rules and conditions of the Promotion and undertakes to fully comply with them. The Participant further declares that they have familiarized themselves with the terms of personal data processing in accordance with these rules.

Enforcement of participation in the Promotion through legal channels is excluded.

The Participant hereby acknowledges the processing of personal data provided, including name, surname, delivery/billing address, email address, phone number, bank account information ("Personal Data") by Samsung Electronics Czech and Slovak, s.r.o., with its registered office at V parku 2323/14 Prague 4, 148 00, Company ID: 289 87 322, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, file no. C 158046, as the administrator of the Participant's Personal Data for the purpose of the Participant's participation in the Promotion. The processing of Personal Data for this purpose is necessary for the realization of the Promotion, i.e., the fulfillment of the contract, of which the Organizer and the Participant are parties. Personal data processed for this purpose will be stored for the duration of the Promotion and for the period necessary to protect the Organizer's rights in connection with the Promotion. The Organizer and Samsung Electronics (UK) Limited, with its registered office at Samsung House, 2000 Hillswood Drive, Chertsey, Surrey, KT16 ORS, United Kingdom, registration number: 03086621 ("Samsung UK") further process as administrators (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Administrator") part of the Personal Data, including name, surname, email address, phone number, and delivery/billing address for marketing purposes, i.e., offering the Administrator's goods and services, including sending information about organized events, products, and other activities, as well as sending commercial communications via electronic means. The processing of Personal Data for this purpose will be carried out based on the consent given by the Participant. The Participant may withdraw their consent at any time, but this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing of Personal Data prior to the withdrawal of consent. Personal data will be processed for 3 years or until the consent is withdrawn.

In connection with the processing of Personal Data, the Participant acknowledges that they have the following rights: the right to request access to Personal Data; the right to request correction or deletion of Personal Data; the right to request restriction of processing of Personal Data; the right to object to the processing of Personal Data; the right to data portability; the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Office for Personal Data Protection). In addition to the listed Administrators, the provided Personal Data may be made accessible to other companies within the Samsung group. In the scope of making Personal Data accessible to other companies within the mentioned group, the transfer of Personal Data to third countries may occur based on a Commission decision on adequate protection or standard contractual clauses.

During the processing of Personal Data by the Administrator, automated individual decision-making, including profiling, may occur, which may have legal effects on the participant or affect them in a similar way. In such a case, the Participant may request human intervention by the Administrator in the processing of Personal Data, express their opinion, and challenge the decision made through automated processing.

The provision of Personal Data is necessary for the Participant's participation in the Promotion, unless it concerns processing based on the Participant's consent. In case of failure to provide Personal Data to the extent necessary for participation in the Promotion, it will not be possible for the Participant to participate in the Promotion.
