Samsung Rewards Boost Promotion: Full Terms and Conditions

I. Introduction

This document outlines the full terms and conditions for the marketing promotion titled "Rewards boost – Increased Rewards" (hereinafter referred to as the "Promotion").

The organizer of this promotion is Samsung Electronics Czech and Slovak, s. r. o., located at V parku 2323/14, Chodov, 148 00 Prague 4, company ID: 289 87 322, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, file no. C 158046 (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer").

Participation in the Promotion is open exclusively to individuals who are consumers and have their residence or delivery address within the Czech Republic. Individuals under 18 years of age may participate only with the written consent of their legal representative. Participants must already be holders of Samsung Rewards points. Conditions for obtaining Rewards points are available on the website: https://www.samsung.com/cz/rewards/.

II. Promotion Period and Location

The Promotion takes place on the e-shop www.samsung.com/cz and in the Samsung Shop App (hereinafter referred to as the "Promotion Location") from July 25, 2025, to July 31, 2025, or while stocks last (hereinafter referred to as the "Promotion Period").

The Promotion may be terminated earlier (i.e., before the end of the Promotion Period) under the conditions specified in Article IV, paragraph 3 of these terms.

The Promotion may be extended beyond the Promotion Period under the conditions specified in Article IV, paragraph 3 of these terms.

III. Promotion Flow and Conditions

The Promotion applies only to the purchase of selected products listed in the tables at the end of these terms (Appendix No. 1, hereinafter referred to as "Product"), and only at the Promotion Location during the Promotion Period.

Available Discount:

If a Participant, who holds Samsung Rewards points in their Samsung account, decides to use their Rewards points to purchase a Product on the e-shop www.samsung.com/cz, they will receive an enhanced benefit in this Promotion in the form of a 50% increase in the value of the discount on the purchase price obtained by redeeming Rewards points (hereinafter referred to as "Extra Discount").

Example 1: Full Extra Discount Application

If the Promotion applies to all Products in the cart (i.e., the Participant purchases only the Product(s) to which the Promotion applies), the Extra Discount is applied in full. For instance, if a Participant uses Rewards points worth 1,000 CZK for the purchase, the Extra Discount under this Promotion is 500 CZK, making the total discount 1,500 CZK.

Example 2: Partial Extra Discount Application

If the Promotion applies to only one Product/part of the Products in the cart (i.e., the Participant also purchases other products not covered by this Promotion), the Rewards points used for payment are allocated proportionally. For example, if a Participant uses Rewards points worth 100 CZK, and Product 1 (covered by the Promotion) costs 700 CZK, while Product 2 (not covered by the Promotion) costs 300 CZK, the Rewards points are split proportionally (70% / 30%). Since the Promotion only applies to the first Product, the Participant receives the Extra Discount only on the proportional part of 70%. In this scenario, the Extra Discount is 35 CZK, making the total discount 135 CZK (based on 100 CZK of Rewards points used).

The total discount will be automatically applied in the cart, provided the conditions outlined in these Promotion terms are met. Information on delivery and payment methods is available at https://www.samsung.com/cz/shop-faq/payment-and-delivery/.

Participation in the Promotion is conditional upon purchasing a Product during the Promotion Period.

The maximum Extra Discount and Extra APP discount for each Participant is capped at 3,000 CZK.

Purchasing a Product is defined as placing an order and subsequently making a full payment for the order. If a Participant fails to pay for the ordered Product or does not meet the conditions of this Promotion (e.g., purchases the Product as a business entity or exceeds the purchase limit specified in Article III, paragraph 9), they acknowledge and agree that the order will be canceled without further notice, and the Participant's right to the Extra Discount (and any other claims) under this Promotion will be forfeited due to non-compliance.

Given that this Promotion applies to brand new Samsung products, the Organizer informs Participants that not all Products may be in stock at the time of the Promotion Period (or at the time of the Participant's order). Therefore, the Organizer does not guarantee immediate delivery of the ordered Product after purchase. The specific delivery timeframe will be communicated by the Organizer to the respective Participant.

If a Product included in the Promotion is sold out, the Promotion no longer applies to that Product, and the Extra Discount cannot be claimed after the Promotion Period, even if the Product is restocked.

If a consumer exercises their statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days (without stating a reason), it is understood (and the Participant acknowledges this in light of the Extra Discount provided) that the Participant has not met the Promotion's conditions for the Extra Discount. In such a case, the Participant will be refunded the actual purchase price paid, and the Rewards points used in the purchase will be returned.

This Promotion cannot be combined with other promotional offers or discounts (such as "gift for a crown with the purchase of a selected product", cashback, voucher redemption, etc.).

IV. Final Provisions

The Organizer does not assume any other obligations towards Participants beyond those stated in these terms and conditions. Participants are not entitled to any other benefits from the Organizer than those specified herein.

The Organizer is not responsible for the loading speed or data transmission of the websites.

The Organizer reserves the right to extend, shorten, suspend, or cancel the Promotion, or to change its terms and conditions, even without prior notice. In the event of changes to the terms and conditions, Participants will be informed via an announcement at the Promotion Location.

The Organizer is authorized to verify compliance with all participation conditions for the Promotion and, in case of dispute, to assess and make a final decision on any matter related to the Promotion. The Organizer, as the seller, reserves the right to exclude or reject (including subsequent cancellation) orders placed by a Participant in violation of these Promotion terms.

The general terms and conditions and the complaint procedure applicable at the Promotion Location apply to this Promotion, unless expressly stated otherwise in these terms. If, after delivery of the Product, the Participant exercises their right to claim a defect of the Product, and the claim is deemed valid by the seller, the claim will be resolved in accordance with the statutory legal regulations and the complaint procedure. If the defect cannot be rectified and the claim is not resolved even by replacing the Product with a defect-free one, the Participant will be entitled, in accordance with the statutory legal regulations and the complaint procedure, to withdraw from the contract concerning the defective Product. In such a case, the Participant will be refunded the purchase price paid for the Product (i.e., the Product's purchase price reduced by the applicable discount), and the Rewards points actually used in the purchase will be returned.

By participating in the Promotion, the Participant confirms their agreement with the terms and conditions of the Promotion and undertakes to fully comply with them. The Participant further declares that they have familiarized themselves with the personal data processing conditions in accordance with these terms.

Legal enforcement of participation in the Promotion is excluded.

The Participant hereby acknowledges the processing of their personal data, including name, surname, place of residence/delivery address, email address, phone number, and bank account information ("Personal Data"), by Samsung Electronics Czech and Slovak, s.r.o., located at V parku 2323/14, Prague 4, 148 00, company ID: 289 87 322, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, file no. C 158046, as the data controller, for the purpose of the Participant's involvement in the Promotion. The processing of Personal Data for this purpose is necessary for the execution of the Promotion, i.e., the fulfillment of the contract to which the Organizer and the Participant are parties. Personal Data processed for this purpose will be stored for the duration of the Promotion and for the period necessary to protect the Organizer's rights in connection with the Promotion. The Organizer and Samsung Electronics (UK) Limited, located at Samsung House, 2000 Hillswood Drive, Chertsey, Surrey, KT16 ORS, United Kingdom, registration number: 03086621 ("Samsung UK") will also process part of the Personal Data, including name, surname, email address, phone number, and place of residence, for marketing purposes, i.e., offering the Organizer's and Samsung UK's products and services, including sending information about organized events, products, and other activities, as well as sending commercial communications via electronic means. The processing of Personal Data for this purpose will be based on the consent given by the Participant. The Participant may withdraw their consent at any time; however, this will not affect the lawfulness of data processing prior to the withdrawal of consent. Personal Data will be processed for 3 years or until consent is withdrawn.

In connection with the processing of Personal Data, the Participant acknowledges that they have the following rights: the right to request access to Personal Data; the right to request correction or deletion of Personal Data; the right to request restriction of processing of Personal Data; the right to object to the processing of Personal Data; the right to data portability; the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (the Office for Personal Data Protection). More information can be found at www.uoou.cz and other rights established by legal regulations for the protection of personal data.

In addition to the specified Controllers, provided Personal Data may also be disclosed to other companies within the Samsung group. In the case of disclosure of Personal Data to other companies within the group, Personal Data may be transferred to third countries based on a European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

The Controller's processing of Personal Data involves automated individual decision-making, including profiling, which may have legal effects on the participant or affect them in a similar way. In such a case, the Participant may request human intervention from the Controller in the processing of Personal Data, express their opinion, and challenge decisions made through automated processing.

The provision of Personal Data is necessary for participation in the Promotion, unless it is processing based on the Participant's consent. If Personal Data is not provided to the extent necessary for participation in the Promotion, it will not be possible for the Participant to take part in the Promotion. This Promotion is governed by Czech law.
