[Diagram description: An overview showing the general placement of the water ionizer unit, hoses, and connections to a tap and drain.]

Installing the hoses for the water

[Diagram description: Illustrates connecting hoses from a tap adapter to the water ionizer's 'IN' and 'OUT' ports. Shows water flow from tap to machine, and acid/alkaline water outlets.]

Cut the water hose into 2 pieces. Insert one hose into the IN outlet on the back of the unit and the other end into the top insert on the adaptor. Repeat for the OUT outlet and bottom insert. To connect the other end of the hose to the adaptor, first insert the hollow bolt through the hose and screw it into the adaptor.

Insert the top hose to the OUT nozzle behind the unit and the bottom hose to the IN nozzle. The hoses are identical; their placement on the adaptor does not matter.

How to connect the adaptor to 2 common types of faucets

[Diagram description: Two types of faucet connections are shown. Type A shows a faucet with an external thread where an adapter is screwed on. Type B shows a faucet where a rubber seal and then an adapter are attached.]

Detailed installation instructions are as follows:

2.4.2 Install 2-2 valves

[Diagram description: Shows a sink countertop with a hole drilled near the edge. Dimensions indicate 70mm from the sink edge and a hole diameter of 14±2mm.]

Step 1: Drilling: Within 70mm of the edge of the sink, drill a through hole (diameter 14±2mm) on the counter surface using an electric drill. Note: For marble countertops, use a 14mm glass hole opener.

[Diagram description: Illustrates the 2-2 valve being inserted into the drilled hole and secured with a hex nut from underneath the countertop. Shows rubber pads and hardware fasteners.]

Step 2: Fix the 2-2 valve: Insert the 2-2 valve into the hole and fix it on the counter with a hex nut.

Three-way ball valve installation

Close the household main water valve switch. Connect the three-way ball valve to the user's home water pipe. One end of the three-way ball valve connects to the water inlet pipe, the other end to the external water equipment pipe, and then connect the PE water pipe (1/4" water pipe) from the three-way ball valve outlet.

[Diagram description: Shows a close-up of a PE pipe being inserted into a fixing nut of a ball valve.]

When connecting the PE pipe to the ball valve, insert the PE pipe into the fixing nut of the ball valve.

[Diagram sequence: 'Before connecting PE', 'Connecting PE tube', 'Complete connection'. Shows a ball valve and PE pipe being assembled.]

After the PE tube is inserted into the ball valve fixing nut, pull out the PE tube with sufficient operating length, insert the PE tube into the fixing screw of the ball valve base, and then screw the fixing nut into the fixing screw and tighten it with a wrench to set the ball valve in the closed position. The three-way ball valve and PE pipe are now installed and connected.

[Diagram description: Shows the PE pipe connected to a 1/4" straight-through quick connector, which is then connected to the faucet adapter B.]

Then insert the other end of the PE pipe into the 1/4" straight-through quick connector. The other end of the quick connector is connected to the bottom interface of the faucet adapter B, and the under-counter part is installed.

Installation of the water ionizer machine

Fix the water ionizer machine on the wall with a hanging kit.

First step: Place the machine in a convenient and suitable position on the counter.

Second step: Measure the appropriate height above the sink (30-50cm is recommended). Take out accessories from the bag and the hanging plate to determine the machine hanging holes position.

[Diagram description: Shows a wall hanging plate with dimensions indicating 40mm center distance between holes and 300-500mm height from a reference point.]

If the installation environment is not convenient for drilling holes, use nail-free glue to fix the wall hanging plate. Apply glue evenly to the fixing surface of the plate and stick it to the wall surface (complete within 5 minutes to prevent glue solidification). Wait 24 hours after glue solidification before hanging the machine.

[Diagram description: Shows an electric drill making two holes of 6mm diameter and 50mm depth, with a 40mm center distance.]

The Benefits Of Hydrogen In Alkaline Water

What is Hydrogen? -----"The fuel of life."

Nobel Prize winner Albert Szent-Gyorgyi stated in his 1937 Nobel Lecture, "A living cell requires energy not only for all its functions, but also for the maintenance of its structure" ... "bring out the fact that our body really only knows one fuel, hydrogen."

[Diagram description: An atomic model showing a nucleus and an orbiting electron, labeled 'Molecular Hydrogen'. Next to it, the chemical symbol 'H' with atomic number 1 and atomic mass 1.00794, labeled 'Hydrogen'.]

Hydrogen is the smallest and lightest antioxidant.

Due to free electrons and reactive nature, hydrogen is a strong antioxidant with high reduction potential. Its small size allows it to penetrate easily through cell membranes, rejuvenating and repairing cells damaged by harmful free radicals. Antioxidants prevent cell oxidation caused by free radicals, a primary cause of diseases. Hydrogen is hundreds of times more effective than antioxidants like Vitamin C and has no side-effects. It is an inner gas produced by bacteria in the large intestine through fermentation.

[Diagram description: A comparison chart showing the antioxidant potential of various substances: Molecular Hydrogen (2), Vitamin C (176), Glutathione (309), Coenzyme Q10 (863), Catechin (290), Vitamin E (431).]

Selective powerful antioxidant ability that only targets and neutralize toxic free radicals(OH)

[Diagram description: A chemical equation showing Molecular Hydrogen (HH) plus Hydroxyl Radical (OH) equals H2O. Icons represent the antioxidant and free radical.]

H2 is extremely small and effective, reaching into cells and the brain where other antioxidants may be blocked, to neutralize free radicals and prevent damage.

How is the Hydrogen-rich water working as an antioxidant?

[Diagram description: Two illustrations. The left shows 'How the hydrogen is working as an antioxidant', depicting Hydrogen-Rich Water interacting with Harmful Oxygen and Beneficial Oxygen. The right shows 'Extracellular' and 'Intracellular' environments with Free Radicals (FR), Hydrogen (H), Vitamin C, and Vitamin E molecules interacting.]

Free radicals outside cells can be removed by polyphenols, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E. Free radicals inside cells are primarily removed by hydrogen-rich water, which penetrates cells due to its small size. The water ionizer produces Hydrogen in alkaline water during electrolysis, separating hydrogen and oxygen. Hydrogen passes through the ion membrane, maximizing dissolved hydrogen and electron concentration.

Principle of Operation

The water ionizer works by electrolysis, changing the pH and Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP) to separate hydrogen and hydroxide ions. Water naturally does not decompose into O2 and H2. However, with cathode and anode added and current applied, water is electrolyzed.

Anode materials are typically platinum, which are resistant to dissolution. The oxidation-reduction reactions are:

After hydrogen and oxygen are produced, the water around the electrodes becomes alkaline and acidic, changing the ORP. A porous semipermeable membrane separates the poles, allowing selective passage. Acidic water (high concentration, oxidative) is collected from the positive pole, and alkaline water (high concentration, reductive) from the negative pole. This is the operational principle of the water ionizer.
