Before using our distiller, please confirm all parts are in good condition and read the instruction carefully. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - Read Before Operating SCALDING DANGER! IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS ( WARNING: To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire or injury to persons! ) Do not immerse the head and base in water or other liquid, nor flush with faucet. After the water in the distillation barrel is dried and automatically protected by the anti-dry protection system, the machine assembly shall be opened after an interval of about 15 minutes to avoid possible hurt caused by the steam in the barrel. Before the product is connected to the power supply, confirm whether the marked voltage is consistent with the local used voltage. If the plug, socket or product is damaged, do not remove the machine for repair without permission, to avoid the wrong connection of the internal circuit, resulting in power short circuit and other dangers. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the -3- appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years. This product is not suitable for people with physical or mental disorders, to avoid harm caused by wrong use. Do not touch hot surface without any protection ELECTRICAL PRECAUTIONS Do not disassemble the unit excep for the authorized serviceman. Unplug the unit before filling it Do not exceed the MAX mark. Do not touch the socket with a wet hand to reduce the risk of electrocution. When taking the head components or cleaning products, press the OFF switch first, and unplug the power plug of the head components and the host power plug. Do not share the same outlet with other high-wattage appliances while operating in order to prevent overloading Always unplug the Main Power Cord before filling or cleaning the unit or whenever not in use INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE FIRST USE Due to the brand-new stainless steel in the still tank, you may perceive a very slight "new smell"or faint taste from the first couple of cycles or so. However, the water is completely pure and safe to consume. Any residual scent or taste dissipates with each use until the water becomes completely -4- odorless and tasteless. After the first few cycles, there should be hardly any taste at all and in fact, it will "taste" better than any other filtered or bottled water. Remove the head of the stiller or clean the stiller, press the OFF switch first, and unplug the power cord For the first time, add 1.0L of water and 2 tablespoons of citric acid into the tank of the main engine, boil water for about 20 minutes, after pouring out the water, rinse the tank and the distillation cover with clean water (the distilled water made for the first time cannot be drunk). When cleaning the interior, it is forbidden to use steel wire brush (velvet) and other hard articles to scrub the inner tank of the main engine and the inner tank of the machine head, so as to avoid scratches formed on the surface of the inner tank, which will cause dirt accumulation in the gap with fine scratches. When it is necessary to stop the production, you can press the OFF switch. There is no need to wait for the water in the tank of the host machine to dry up completely. This product can continuously produce distilled water, press the OFF switch and turn on the head component after an interval of about 15 minutes. Add the water with the largest scale into the inner tank of the main machine, and press the ON switch to restart the distilling. The indicator of the start button lights up, the head fan starts to turn, and the distiller machine starts to heat up. 5.The distiller machine is heated for about 30 minutes, and the distilled -9- water starts to drip out slowly from the distiller to the Carafe 6.Stop the distillation by pressing the RED switch or disconnecting the main power cord from the socket VEVOR distiller is specially equipped with anti-dry protection system. automatically stops when the still tank is dry to ensure safety CLEANING INSTRUCTION - 10 - When using it for the first time, please boil it with citric acid and water, and then clean it. 1.Add 1.0L of water and 2 tablespoons of citric acid into the still tank, put the top back on, and boil water for about 20 minutes. 2.After pouring out the water, wash the distiller's tank and cap with a soft cloth (the distilled water made for the first time cannot be drunk). 3.Rinse these parts with clean water while not allowing any electrical components to become wet. WARM TIPS: Clean the inside of the boiling tank after each cycle has ended and the unit has cooled for at least 30 minutes. Disconnect the distiller from power and allow time for it to fully cool before any cleaning, maintenance, or repair. Never use caustic chemicals or harsh abrasives, which might damage the steel lining. Rinse and wipe the distiller's tank daily using clean water and a soft cloth. Clean the distiller's tank and cap at least monthly to remove mineral deposits and other buildup from the stainless steel lining. Clean the collection bottle at least monthly with warm soapy water and rinse it thoroughly afterward to remove any soap residue. Never alternate between hot and cold water quickly as this may damage the bottle. If this device will not be used for an extended period of time, remove the collection cap from the lid, install the storage cap in its place, and store the distiller in a cool dry location out of direct sunlight and inaccessible to children. SILICONE SEAL ASSEMBLY - 11 - The silicone seal prevents water from escaping the distiller. When placing or replacing it, ensure that the rounded side is facing up. ACTIVATED CHARCOAL & NOZZLE ASSEMBLY Installation and disassembly of outlet nozzle are shown in the diagram on the right. Before the water outlet nozzle is installed into the machine head, the activated carbon shall be installed into the stainless steel water outlet nozzle first. Check that the seal remains in place. - 12 - If the steam baffle is deformed, please correct it manually, otherwise it will affect the water outlet efficiency. Functions: Removes odors and improves taste. Validity date: Each activated charcoal sachet should be replaced within a period of 25 days.If a strange taste or odor is discovered in the distilled water, please replace the activated charcoal sachet immediately Water will be tastier if you use 2 sachets at a time. Please do not place an unused or currently used activated charcoal sachet in the refrigerator to avoid odor absorption that would result in poor water taste. Used activated charcoal sachet can be re-used for odor removal by placing it in shoes or refrigerator. New activated charcoal sachets can release a small trace of black powder, which is completely harmless to human body. It is just powdered charcoal. Please use at ease. New activated charcoal sachets are sealed in sealed plastic bags and should be kept in a cool place.
