Installation Steps

Step 1: Prepare Tools and Camera

Gather necessary tools, including T10 and T15 screwdrivers. Prepare the camera unit, ensuring a Micro SD card slot and reset button are accessible.

Step 2: Drill Mounting Holes

Mark and drill mounting holes on the installation surface. Use a 6mm drill bit for pilot holes and a 25mm drill bit for wall anchors if required.

Step 3: Mount Camera Bracket

Secure the camera's mounting bracket to the prepared surface using appropriate screws.

Step 4: Connect Cables

Connect all necessary cables to the camera. Refer to the wiring table below for detailed connections.

Step 5: Finalize Installation

Mount the camera onto the installed bracket and make any necessary adjustments for optimal viewing angle.

Honeywell offers various compatible accessories for installation. Ensure accessories are purchased according to your needs and installed using the provided screws.

Software and Configuration

  1. Visit the Honeywell website: https://myhoneywellbuildingsuniversity.com
  2. Navigate to the Download Center.
  3. Download the "Unified Tool".
  4. Launch the Honeywell Unified Tool and use the Camera Manager for configuration.
  5. When logging in, set a strong password (8+ characters, mix of cases, numbers, symbols). It is recommended to use HTTPS only for secure communication.

Note: Chrome version 91 or later is recommended. The camera defaults to DHCP/APIPA IP address assignment. Users can choose to keep this default or assign a static IP address.

Connecting to Legacy NVR: If connecting to a legacy NVR that does not support HTTPS, change the camera's mode to HTTP & HTTPS.

Important Safeguards

Mounting and Environmental Considerations

The product supports ceiling or wall mounting. For wall mounting, ensure the Cable Gland faces downwards and the product is installed at least 3 meters high. Install the camera at least 10 centimeters away from building eaves.

Contact an authorized Honeywell distributor for accessories like Cable Glands and cables.

If using a Class I adapter or switch for power, ensure the power cord is firmly plugged in and the main earth connection is confirmed.
