Installation Steps
Step 1: Prepare Tools and Camera
Gather necessary tools, including T10 and T15 screwdrivers. Prepare the camera unit, ensuring a Micro SD card slot and reset button are accessible.

Mark and drill mounting holes on the installation surface. Use a 6mm drill bit for pilot holes and a 25mm drill bit for wall anchors if required.

Secure the camera's mounting bracket to the prepared surface using appropriate screws.

Step 5: Finalize Installation
Mount the camera onto the installed bracket and make any necessary adjustments for optimal viewing angle.

Honeywell offers various compatible accessories for installation. Ensure accessories are purchased according to your needs and installed using the provided screws.

Software and Configuration
- Visit the Honeywell website: https://myhoneywellbuildingsuniversity.com
- Navigate to the Download Center.
- Download the "Unified Tool".
- Launch the Honeywell Unified Tool and use the Camera Manager for configuration.
- When logging in, set a strong password (8+ characters, mix of cases, numbers, symbols). It is recommended to use HTTPS only for secure communication.
Note: Chrome version 91 or later is recommended. The camera defaults to DHCP/APIPA IP address assignment. Users can choose to keep this default or assign a static IP address.
Connecting to Legacy NVR: If connecting to a legacy NVR that does not support HTTPS, change the camera's mode to HTTP & HTTPS.
Scenarios:
- Scenario A (Factory Default): Follow steps 1a-5a.
- Scenario B (Already Initialized): Follow steps 1b-5b. Ensure selected devices are authenticated.

WARNING: Use only certified LPS or Class 2 power adapters. Power over Ethernet (PoE) must meet IEEE 802.3af standard. Consult Honeywell for recommended adapters.

Important Safeguards
- Read and keep these instructions.
- Ensure installation area can safely support the camera's weight.
- Do not aim the camera at bright light sources for extended periods. Avoid unstable light sources, fluorescent lamps, or reflective objects.
- Do not touch the camera lens.
- Do not drop the camera or subject it to physical shock.
- Use mild detergents for cleaning.
- Operate within temperature range: -40°F to 149°F (-40°C to 65°C).
- Avoid operating near strong electromagnetic radiation sources (e.g., radio/TV transmitters).
- Connect only to PoE networks, not outside plant networks.
- If using a power adapter, ensure it is properly grounded.
- Installation and dismantling should be performed by qualified technicians only.
- Cut power before any repair or installation work.
Mounting and Environmental Considerations
The product supports ceiling or wall mounting. For wall mounting, ensure the Cable Gland faces downwards and the product is installed at least 3 meters high. Install the camera at least 10 centimeters away from building eaves.
Contact an authorized Honeywell distributor for accessories like Cable Glands and cables.
If using a Class I adapter or switch for power, ensure the power cord is firmly plugged in and the main earth connection is confirmed.
Regulatory Statements
FCC Statement of Compliance: This equipment complies with Class A digital device limits under Part 15 of FCC Rules, designed for reasonable protection against harmful interference. Users are encouraged to correct interference by reorienting antennas, increasing separation, or connecting to a different circuit. Modifications not expressly approved may void user authority.
