Quick Installation Guide
Installation Steps
- Mounting the Camera: Follow the diagrams for ceiling or wall mounting. Ensure the mounting surface can support the camera's weight. Use appropriate screws provided in the accessory box.
- Connecting Cables: Connect the network cable (RJ45) and power cables (DC 12V) as indicated in the diagrams. Refer to the wiring table for specific pinouts (Network, Power, Alarm, RS485, Audio).
- Optional Accessories: If using mounting accessories like HA35PLM01, HA35CNM01, HA60WLMB1, HA35PMC02, HA35CLM01, HA35CLM02, or HA35JCBHA1, follow the specific installation diagrams provided.
- Initial Setup and Configuration:
- Access the camera via its IP address. The camera defaults to DHCP/APIPA.
- Use the Honeywell Unified Tool for initial setup, including password configuration and network settings.
- For legacy NVRs that do not support HTTPS, change the camera's mode to HTTP & HTTPS.
- Ensure the camera is authenticated, especially when connecting to NVRs.
Cautions and Warnings
- Electrical Safety: Use only certified LPS or Class 2 power adapters or PoE compliant with IEEE 802.3af. Ensure proper grounding if using a power adapter.
- Operating Environment: Avoid extreme temperatures (-40°F to 149°F / -40°C to 65°C), high humidity, dust, and strong electromagnetic radiation.
- Installation Precautions: Install at least 10 cm away from building eaves. If wall-mounted, ensure the Cable Gland faces down and the product is above 3 meters. Do not touch the camera lens. Avoid aiming the camera at bright light sources for extended periods.
- Servicing: Refer servicing to qualified personnel. Cut off power before repair or installation.
- Cleaning: Do not use strong or abrasive detergents.

- Manufacturer's Declaration of Conformance (Europe): Compliant with RoHS 3 (2015/863), EMC Directive (2014/30/EU), and electrical safety standards.
