This document provides instructions for using the Xiaomi Smart Band 7.
Precautions
- Keep your wrist still when measuring heart rate.
- The band has a 5ATM water resistance rating (50 meters). It's suitable for swimming pools, shallow water activities, and swimming near the shore. It is not intended for hot showers, saunas, or diving. Avoid strong water currents during water sports.
- Water resistance is not permanent and may decrease over time.
- The touchscreen does not support underwater operations.
- After contact with water, wipe the band dry with a soft cloth.
- Avoid wearing the band too tightly and keep the contact area dry during daily use.
- Clean the wristband regularly with water.
- Discontinue use and seek medical attention if skin irritation (redness or swelling) occurs.
- This band is not a medical device; data provided should not be used for diagnosis, treatment, or disease prevention.
Battery Safety
- The built-in lithium polymer battery cannot be removed or replaced. Do not attempt to do so yourself to avoid damage.
- Using the wrong battery type poses an explosion risk.
- Dispose of used batteries according to local laws and regulations; do not mix with household waste.
- Do not disassemble, strike, crush, or throw the battery into fire.
- Stop using the battery immediately if it swells or leaks.
- Avoid exposure to sunlight, fire, or extreme heat.
- If storing the band for a long time, turn it off.
- To prevent damage from over-discharge, charge the battery fully every 6 months.
Product Overview
The Xiaomi Smart Band 7 consists of the following components: Touchscreen, Heart Rate Sensor, Charging Port, Fitness Tracker module, Wristband, and Charging Cable.
How to Install
- Insert one end of the fitness tracker module into the slot on the front of the wristband.
- Press down on the other end with your thumb to push the fitness tracker completely into the slot.
Wearing
For optimal performance and comfort:
- Wear the band comfortably around your wrist, about one finger-width away from your wrist bone.
- Ensure the back of the band, particularly the heart rate sensor, makes good contact with your skin.
- Avoid wearing the band too tight or too loose; allow space for your skin to breathe.
- Tighten the band before exercise and loosen it afterward.
Connecting with APP
To connect your band to your smartphone:
- Scan the QR code (provided in the original document) to download and install the companion app.
- Add the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 to the app.
- Log in to your Xiaomi account and follow the on-screen instructions to pair the band via Bluetooth.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. Keep the phone and band close during pairing.
- Requires Android 6.0 & iOS 10.0 or above.
How to Use
After successful pairing:
- Tap the touchscreen to wake the display.
- Swipe up to access functions.
- Swipe down to view notifications.
- Swipe left or right to quickly select shortcuts.
Disassembling
To remove the fitness tracker from the wristband:
- Remove the band from your wrist.
- Hold each end of the wristband and pull to create a small gap between the tracker and the band.
- Use a finger to pop the fitness tracker out of its slot from the front.
Charging
Connect the band to the charging cable to turn it on for the first time. Recharge the band when the battery level is low.
