1. Safety Warnings

General Warnings:

  • Do not attempt stunts or tricks. The product is not designed for misuse, such as jumping, grinding, or other maneuvers that can lead to loss of control or unintended reactions.
  • Always wear appropriate protective equipment, including a recognized safety helmet (with chin strap securely fastened), elbow pads, and knee pads. A helmet may be legally required by local laws or regulations. Long-sleeved shirts and long pants are recommended.

  • Ensure the brakes are functioning properly; make necessary adjustments if needed. No lubricants should be regularly applied.
  • Check for cracks or broken connections. Although broken frames are rare, an aggressive rider could hit a curb or object and tear, bend, or break a frame. Get into the habit of inspecting your scooter on a regular basis.
  • Devices are not intended for use at altitudes higher than 2000 m above sea level.
  • Extended exposure to UV rays, rain, and the elements can damage the housing materials; store indoors when not in use.

  1. Lift the rubber charging port cover.
  2. Plug the charger into the charging port.
  3. When charging is complete, replace the rubber charging port cover.

6. How to Ride and Stop

Preparation:

  • Always wear appropriate protective equipment, including a recognized safety helmet (with chin strap securely fastened), elbow pads, and knee pads. A helmet may be legally required by local laws or regulations. Long-sleeved shirts and long pants are recommended. Always wear shoes and keep them tied and away from the wheels and motor. Never ride barefoot or in sandals.

Starting and Riding:

  1. Press the power button and hold for 2 seconds to turn on the scooter. Check the power indicator.
  2. Step onto the deck with one foot, and push off the ground with the other foot to gain initial momentum.
  3. Once the scooter starts gliding, place both feet on the deck and press down on the accelerator.
  4. Note: Do not press the accelerator until the scooter reaches approximately 5 km/h. The scooter must be traveling at least 5 km/h for the motor to engage.
  5. Steering: Lean your body in the direction of the turn, and gently turn the handlebars.

Stopping:

  1. For controlled stopping, release the throttle and apply the brake by pressing down on the rear fender brake.

7. Safety Instructions

General Riding Safety:

  • Maintain your speed between 5-10 km/h when riding over bumps, elevator door sills, uneven roads, or other uneven surfaces. Slightly bend your knees to better absorb the mentioned surfaces.
  • Be aware of doors, elevators, and other overhead obstacles.
  • Do not ride in the rain.
  • Do not ride downhill.
  • Do not press the accelerator while walking alongside the scooter.
  • Do not hang bags or other heavy items on the handlebars.
  • Always stand away from obstructions.
  • Keep both feet on the deck at all times.
  • Do not make sudden steering movements at high speeds.
  • Do not ride in traffic lanes or pedestrian areas where vehicles and pedestrians are mixed.
  • Do not ride with anyone else, including children.
  • Do not ride through standing water that is deeper than 20 mm.
  • Do not place your feet on the rear fender brake.
  • Do not touch the rear fender brake immediately after riding.
  • Do not attempt to ride on or down stairs, or jump over obstacles.
  • Do not place your feet on the handlebars when carrying the scooter.

Safety Reminders:

  • The electric scooter is a recreational device. However, once in a public area, it will be seen as a vehicle and subject to any risks posed by vehicles. For your safety, please follow the instructions in this manual and traffic laws and regulations set forth by government and regulatory agencies.
  • At the same time, you must understand that risks cannot be entirely eliminated as others may violate traffic regulations and ride carelessly, and you are exposed to road hazards just as when you walk or cycle. The faster the scooter goes, the longer it takes to stop. On a smooth surface, the scooter can slip, lose balance, and even result in a fall. Therefore, it is critical that you use caution, maintain appropriate speed and distance, especially when you are unfamiliar with the area.
  • Respect pedestrians' right of way. Do not try to startle them while riding, especially children. When riding from behind a pedestrian, ring your bell to alert them and allow them to pass on your left (applicable to countries where vehicles drive on the right). When encountering pedestrians, keep to the right with a reduced speed. When encountering pedestrians, keep to the lowest speed or dismount the vehicle.
  • Continue to follow the safety instructions in the manual in countries where there are no relevant laws and regulations regarding electric scooters. FanttikRide is not responsible for any financial losses, bodily harm, accidents, legal disputes, or other conflicts of interest resulting from actions that violate the user instructions.

8. Folding and Carrying

Folding:

  • Ensure the scooter is turned off.
  • Push the release lever and lower the handlebar stem to fold the scooter.

Carrying:

  • Carry the handlebar stem with one or both hands to carry.

9. Daily Care and Maintenance

Cleaning and Upkeep:

  • If you see stains on the scooter's body, wipe them off with a damp cloth. If the stains do not come off, apply a small amount of cream, then wipe them off with a damp cloth. If you see scratches on plastic parts, use sandpaper or other abrasive materials to polish them.
  • Note: Do not clean the scooter with alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, or other corrosive and flammable chemical solvents to prevent damage. Do not wash the scooter with a high-pressure water spray. When cleaning, ensure the scooter is turned off, the charger cable is unplugged, and the rubber port is sealed, as water leakage can result in electric shock or other serious problems.
  • When the scooter is not in use, keep it indoors where it is dry and cool. Do not leave it outdoors for an extended period. Prolonged sun exposure, overheating, and overcooling can accelerate rubber aging and compromise the scooter and battery's lifespan.

Battery Care and Disposal:

  • Do not store in freezing temperatures. To properly maintain your battery and ensure maximum battery life, carefully read the "Charging Your Scooter" section on page 9 of the owner's manual.
  • The battery pack should not be disassembled, crushed, punctured, opened, or deformed.
  • Disposal: Your C100 Pro uses a lithium-ion battery pack that must be recycled or disposed of in an environmentally safe manner. Do not dispose of a battery pack in a fire. Do not dispose of a battery pack in your regular household waste. Burning, disposing of in a landfill, or mixing batteries with household waste is prohibited by law in most areas. Return the spent battery to a federally or state-approved lithium-ion battery recycler.
  • If the battery becomes hot, leaks, or emits smoke, place it in a fireproof container and wait for the problem to resolve itself.

Charger:

  • The charger supplied with the C100 Pro should be regularly inspected for damage to the cord, plug, housing, and other parts. In case of such damage, the product must not be charged until it has been repaired or replaced.
  • Use only the recommended charger specified in the "Specifications" section on page 21, manufactured by "SHENZHEN FUYUANDIAN POWER CO., LTD".
  • Always charge the battery before storing it to extend the battery's lifespan. The battery pack functions better at normal temperatures and poorly when below 0°C. When below 0°C, the riding range is halved. When the temperature rises, the riding range returns to normal.
  • Note: A fully charged FanttikRide C100 Pro electric scooter will take approximately 5 hours. The built-in intelligent chip will keep a record of its charge and discharge history. Damage caused by overcharging is irreversible and not covered by the limited warranty. Once damage occurs, the battery can no longer be charged (non-professionals are prohibited from disassembling the battery pack, as it may cause electric shock, short circuit, or even serious safety accidents).
