Diagram shows a simplified representation of the electric expansion valve, illustrating its function in regulating refrigerant flow based on temperature. Symbols indicate temperature ranges and electrical resistance.
Installation Instructions
Step 1: Mounting
Diagram shows the valve being mounted, with an arrow indicating a maximum allowable tilt angle of 15 degrees from the vertical.
Step 2: Open Position
Diagram illustrates the valve being opened, with a note emphasizing it must be fully open before soldering.
Note: ETS 6 manual coil: Code no. 034G5199
Step 3: Brazing
Diagram depicts the brazing process for connecting the valve. It shows the valve body (max. 120°C / 248°F), the pipe (max. 700°C / 1300°F), and indicates the use of Ag 5% solder. Two connection points are highlighted.
Step 4: Assembling Motor Coil
Diagram shows the motor coil being attached to the valve body. An arrow indicates the direction of attachment, and a 'CLICK' symbol suggests an audible confirmation of proper connection.
Step 5: Wiring Connection
Diagram shows the electrical connection terminal block. It lists wire colors (Grey, Black, Yellow, Red, Orange) and indicates corresponding resistance values (46±30) for the motor phases.
