Function Settings
The transmitter operates with 868.3MHz AM and Fixcode by default. The frequency and coding can be selected using the 2-pole coding switch [S1].
Switch Settings:
- [S1] Position 1: Selects Frequency (ON for 433.92MHz, OFF for 868.3MHz).
- [S1] Position 2: Selects Coding (ON for KeeLoq-Code, OFF for Linearcode).
Frequency and Coding Combinations:
- 868.3MHz, 18-Bit Linearcode: [S1] Position 1 OFF, Position 2 OFF.
- 433.92MHz, 18-Bit Linearcode: [S1] Position 1 ON, Position 2 OFF.
- 868.3MHz, KeeLoq-Code Dickert: [S1] Position 1 OFF, Position 2 ON.
- 433.92MHz, KeeLoq-Code Dickert: [S1] Position 1 ON, Position 2 ON.
Opening the Transmitter
The upper and lower shells of the housing are latched together. To adjust the coding switch [S1] and change the battery, the transmitter must be opened.
The opening point is located near the loop for the key ring. A flat-head screwdriver can be used to separate the housing halves.
Battery Replacement:
To replace the button cell battery, slide it from the center towards the outer edge. When inserting the new battery, follow the reverse procedure. The '+' side should face upwards.
Troubleshooting
- Check batteries; replace if necessary. Dispose of used batteries for recycling.
- Check the position and orientation of the receiver antenna/receiver.
