Installation Instructions

General Safety:

• Ensure the mains power is off (switch "OFF") before starting installation.
• Installation and maintenance should be performed by a qualified electrician according to local safety regulations.
• Stranded wires must not be welded; use wire sleeves or insulated ends.
• All energized connections must be secure for a long lifespan.
• The lamp may be hot during operation; allow it to cool before touching or replacing.
• Do not install near heaters or heat sources. Ensure good ventilation.
• This product is not a toy; children should not play with it.
• Do not immerse the cord or main body in water or other liquids to avoid electric shock.
• Follow manufacturer's instructions and technical data.

Step-by-step Installation:

1. Confirm the direction of the baseplate before installation.
2. Secure the base plate using appropriate screws (tapered tapping screws for solid ceilings, flat head screws for wire boxes).
3. Connect the AC cables (L/N). The lamp is made of insulating plastic, so a ground wire is not required. Use one of the following connectors:
   • Fast wire connectors: Turn the switch to 90°, connect the cable, then turn off the switch.
   • Wire nuts: Tighten the AC cable and L/N cable crosswise, then screw in the wire nuts.
4. Push wire nuts upwards to secure.
5. Rotate the lamp clockwise onto the base plate to finish installation.

Important Notes on Connecting Cables:

• When using the quick cable connector, ensure the switch is turned to 90° before connecting the cable. Failure to do so may result in insecure connection and risks of fire, burns, or electric shock.
• When using wire nuts, tighten the cable first, then screw it into the wire nut.

Installation Diagram Explanation:

The diagrams illustrate the correct rotation direction for attaching and detaching the base plate and the light fixture. Ensure the rotation direction of the light and the chassis are opposite during installation, following the specific directions indicated for each component.

APP Control

Keepsmile App Control:

1. Scan the QR code or search for and download the 'Keepsmile' app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
3. Do not connect via the phone's Bluetooth settings. Open the Keepsmile app directly.
4. In the app, select 'Ceiling light(CCT)'.

Look for the '✓' mark indicating a successful connection. A '•' mark indicates Bluetooth is unconnected; tap it to connect.

Remote Control Instructions

The remote control allows for various lighting adjustments:

• Turn on/off Lights: Power button.
• Brightness Adjustment: Buttons for 20%, 50%, 100% brightness, plus '+' and '-' buttons for incremental adjustments.
• Color Temperature Adjustment: Buttons to adjust color temperature from 3000K (warm white) to 6500K (daylight white), with intermediate steps like 4500K. Adjustments are in ±500K increments.
• Timer Set: Buttons for 30-minute (30min) and 1-hour (1H) timers. The light will turn off automatically when the set time expires.
• Night Light Mode: Activates a mode with 3000K color temperature and 10% brightness.

Code Matching:

• Matching Code: Within 30 seconds of powering on the light, long-press the ON/OFF button on the remote control (top right) for 3 seconds. Rapid flashing of the light indicates successful code matching.
• Clear Code: Within 30 seconds of powering on the light, long-press the Night Light Mode button (top left) for 5 seconds. Flashing of the light indicates successful code clearing.

Note: The ceiling lamp's code is pre-matched at the factory. Avoid clearing the code unless necessary. If the remote control is not working, try clearing the code and re-matching.

Troubleshooting

1. Splash-proof: This light is IP40 rated (dustproof, not waterproof) and suitable for indoor and semi-indoor spaces like foyers, staircases, closets, etc. It is not recommended for use in showers.
2. Extra Bulbs: This is an integrated LED fixture and does not require separate light bulbs.
3. Night Lighting Mode: Reduces brightness to 10% and sets color temperature to 3000K (warm white).
4. Custom Color Temperature: Yes, you can adjust the color temperature from warm white to daylight white using the remote control.
5. Brightness Levels: Available at 20%, 50%, 100%. Night light mode is 10% brightness at 3000K.
6. Timer Function: The light can be timed for 30 minutes or 1 hour using the remote control.
7. Multiple Lights with One Remote: One remote control can only control one light at a time after code matching. If the remote is coded to another lamp, it will not control the previously coded one.
8. Memory Function: The ceiling light remembers the last used settings (color temperature and brightness) when turned off and on again.
9. DIY Installation: Yes, installation is designed to be easy, typically involving connecting wires, mounting the base, and attaching the light fixture. Professional installation is also an option.
