Installation and Mounting

Simple Installation

The Carpuride system uses a suction mount and self-adhesive bracket to secure the Intellidash to your dashboard or windshield. It can be easily removed and stored when not in use. Simply toggle the switch up/down to install/uninstall the long arm.

Mounting Steps:

1. Align the four holes and secure the mount.
2. Rotate to adjust the angle.
3. Install: Press down. Dismantle: Pull up.

Adjustable Arm

The 360-degree adjustable arm keeps your screen accessible without blocking your view.

Dashboard Mounted

The adhesive base with a suction lock fixes securely to your dashboard. Release the lock to rotate the mount 360 degrees on the base.

Windshield Mounted

The strong suction cup included in the box allows for better heatproof performance and more stable installation, even during hot summers and cold winters.

Functionality and Usage

Main Interface

The main interface provides access to various functions:

• 1. i-Play: iPhone CarPlay
• 2. A-Auto: Android Auto
• 3. Airplay: iPhone Mirror link
• 4. Autolink: Android Mirror link
• 5. Settings: Access setting interface for various functions.
• 6. Phone: Enter the Bluetooth call interface.
• 7. BT Music: Bluetooth mobile phone music interface.
• 8. USB: 2.1A USB interface for playing music/video/pictures from a USB flash drive, or connecting to a mobile phone via USB data cable.
• 9. Card: Micro SD card interface for playing music/video/pictures from the card (Not supported by some models).
• 10. FM trans: Adjust the car stereo's FM and the car's FM to the same frequency to broadcast through the car's local speaker.
• 11. CarPlay Connected Indicator Icon: Displays connection status.
• 12. Sun Icon: Screen brightness adjustment.
• 13. Wallpaper Icon: Change the background image.

How to use USB function

The USB function allows U disk playback for video and audio. Supports lossless sound quality or high-definition video playback.

1. Single loop and all loop playback.
2. Previous track and next track.
3. Pause music / resume playback.
4. Show the playlist and click to play.

How to use SD card function

The SD card function is for TF card audio and video playback. Supports lossless sound quality or high-definition video playback.

1. Previous track / next track.
2. Pause video/resume playback.
3. Single loop.
4. Playlist.

How to use Bluetooth music function

Bluetooth music playback for Android phones or iOS devices. This function is available before other interconnected systems are connected. It will be turned off if other systems are used.

How to Use the Bluetooth Call Function

Bluetooth call function for Android phones or iOS devices. This function is available before connecting to other interconnected systems. It will be turned off if other systems are used.

Local Speaker 8Ω 2W

The car stereo has a local speaker that can sound separately. Music and video can be played through memory card and U disk without connecting other speakers.

AUX OUT connects to the AUX IN of the car audio

Use the AUX cable to connect the car and the car stereo; sound can be output through the car's local speaker.

FM Transmission

Adjust the car stereo's FM and the car's FM to the same frequency for sound output through the car's local speaker.

Speaker Mute

Controls the car stereo's speaker. Turn On: Both the car stereo's and car's local speakers will sound. Turn Off: The car stereo's local speaker will be muted, and only the car's local speaker will sound.

CarPlay Connectivity

How to Use CarPlay: Wireless and Wired Connection

CarPlay Wired Connection Method:

Use a high-quality Apple data cable to connect to the USB port of this product. Follow the phone prompts to confirm usage. Note: Wired CarPlay does not require connection to the car stereo's WiFi and Bluetooth, but requires a high-quality data cable for stable connection.

CarPlay Wireless Connection Method:

Use iPhone for Bluetooth matching. The car stereo's Bluetooth Name is "WP701-BT". Follow iPhone prompts to connect. Ensure Bluetooth and WiFi on the iPhone are turned on simultaneously. Steps:

1. iPhone searches for Bluetooth "WP701-BT" for pairing.
2. Click "Pair".
3. Click "Allow" (for contacts and favorites sync).
4. Click "Use CarPlay".
5. Turn on the car's WiFi.
6. iPhone searches and chooses the WiFi "WP701" to connect.
7. Enter the password "0000", click "Join".
8. Connection succeeded.

CarPlay synchronizes with iPhone applications. More applications can be found in the iPhone's App Store. Install and synchronize the iPhone to the screen for use.

AirPlay Functionality

How to Use AirPlay Wirelessly

AirPlay synchronizes with iPhone applications. More applications can be found in the iPhone's App Store. Install and synchronize the iPhone to the screen for use.

AirPlay Wireless Connection Method:

Turn off Bluetooth and WiFi on the iPhone. After disconnecting wireless CarPlay, connect the iPhone only to the car stereo's WiFi. Bluetooth must be turned off. Enter WiFi password "0000". Steps:

1. Turn off Bluetooth and WiFi in iPhone settings.
2. Connect only to the car stereo's WiFi; Bluetooth remains off.
3. Select "Screen Mirroring" in the control center.
4. Click "WP701-AirPlay" for wireless mirroring.

Note: This function requires connecting only to the car stereo's WiFi for screen mirroring, without Bluetooth connection. AirPlay supports wireless connections only and is independent of the wired iOSMirror function.

AutoLink and iOSMirror

How to Use AutoLink and iOSMirror

This application is for Wired iPhone or Android phone Screen Mirroring.

AutoLink:

• Mirroring screen function for Android phones, supporting wireless and wired screen projection.
• Set the Android device to "AutoLink" in settings.
• Install the "AutoLink Pro" projection APP.

iOSMirror:

• Mirroring function for iOS devices, supporting wired screen projection only.
• Set the Apple device to "iOSMirror" in settings.

AutoLink Wired Connection Method:

Use a high-quality data cable to connect to the USB port of the car stereo. Install the projection APP "AutoLink Pro" according to phone prompts. If installation fails, use the mobile browser to open http://developer.autolink.top/Autolink_Pro.apk to install manually.

AutoLink Wireless Connection Method:

1. Open AutoLink Pro on your phone to search for WiFi of this product.
2. Connect to the WiFi of this product.
3. Click "Start Now" as prompted by the phone.

iOSMirror Wired Connection Method:

Set the Apple device to "iOSMirror" in settings. Use a high-quality Apple data cable to connect to the USB port of this product. Follow iPhone prompts for "trust" authorization.

Camera Installation

How to install the camera

1. Connect the car stereo with the matched wire and insert the AV IN interface.
2. Connect the reversing lights of the car with the matched wire.
3. Hide the wire properly. Refer to the hidden route map.

• Q: How to customize the boot screen?
  A: It is FREE. Contact support@carpuride.com, send a picture (preferably JPG or PNG format), and the engineer team will customize an upgrade software for you.
• Q: What car models are applicable?
  A: Almost all models are suitable, requiring no complicated wiring. Both cars and trucks are compatible.
• Q: Is it possible to change the default volume?
  A: Yes, contact support@carpuride.com. The engineer team will customize a FREE upgrade software for you.
• Q: Is it possible to charge the mobile phone?
  A: Yes, via a USB cable.
• Q: Is it possible to use a Bluetooth camera?
  A: Not currently, but future products are planned. Development is ongoing.
