Connectivity

Android

Bluetooth Connection:

Press the [home button] to turn on the controller.
Hold the [pairing button] for 3 seconds until the [LED indicator] flashes [flashing blue LED].
On your Android device, go to Bluetooth settings and connect to '8BitDo Ultimate Controller'.

LED Indicator: [solid blue LED] when connected.

iOS

Bluetooth Connection:

Press the [home button] to turn on the controller.
Hold the [pairing button] for 3 seconds until the [LED indicator] flashes [flashing blue LED].
On your iOS device, go to Bluetooth settings and connect to '8BitDo Ultimate Controller'.

LED Indicator: [solid blue LED] when connected.

Functions

Mode System Configuration

Switch to Switch Mode: Press and hold [home button] + [A button] for 3 seconds. [LED indicator]: [flashing green LED].
Switch to Android Mode: Press and hold [home button] + [B button] for 3 seconds. [LED indicator]: [flashing blue LED].
Switch to D-input Mode: Press and hold [home button] + [X button] for 3 seconds. [LED indicator]: [flashing red LED].
Switch to Keyboard Mode: Press and hold [home button] + [Y button] for 3 seconds. [LED indicator]: [flashing yellow LED].

Turbo Function

Set Turbo: Press and hold the desired button, then press and hold the [turbo button]. [LED indicator]: [flashing white LED].
Disable Turbo: Press and hold the button with turbo function, then press and hold the [turbo button] again. [LED indicator]: [flashing white LED].
Clear All Turbo: Hold the [turbo button] for 3 seconds. [LED indicator]: [flashing white LED].

Battery

Charging

Connect the USB-C cable to the controller's [USB-C port] and a USB charger. [LED indicator]: [solid red LED] while charging, [LED off] when fully charged.

Battery Status

Press and hold the [home button] for 2 seconds to check battery level.

LED Indicator: [flashing red LED] (Low Battery), [solid red LED] (Charging), [LED off] (Fully Charged/Not Charging).

Software

Download the 8BitDo Ultimate Software from the official 8BitDo website to update firmware and customize button mapping.
