Product Overview

The 8BitDo Ultimate Mobile Gaming Controller offers an enhanced gaming experience for mobile devices. It features a comfortable design with all standard controller buttons and sticks, along with advanced functionalities.

Controller Layout

The controller includes:

• D-pad: Directional control.
• Left Analog Stick (LSB) & Right Analog Stick (RSB): For precise movement and control.
• LB/RB & LT/RT: Shoulder buttons and triggers.
• Start & Select Buttons: Standard gaming functions.
• Home Button: For power and system access.
• Pair Button: For Bluetooth pairing.
• Turbo Button: To enable rapid fire functionality.
• Profile LED: Indicates controller status and profiles.
• Status Indicator: Shows connection and pairing status.
• Power Indicator: Displays battery status.
• Type-C Port: For charging and wired connections.

Powering On/Off

• Power On: Press the Home button.
• Power Off: Hold the Home button for 3 seconds.
• Force Power Off: Hold the Home button for 6 seconds.

Bluetooth Connection (Android)

Requires Android 13 or above.

1. Turn on the controller by pressing the Home button.
2. Hold the Pair button for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode (Status indicator blinks rapidly). This is for the first-time connection only.
3. On your Android device, enable Bluetooth, search for "8BitDo Ultimate MG", and connect. The Status indicator will remain solid upon successful connection.

Controller Functions

Turbo Function

Note: Home button, LSB/RSB, and P1/P2 buttons do not support Turbo. Turbo settings are not saved permanently and revert to default after power off or disconnection.

• Turbo Mode: Press the Turbo button in combination with a desired button to activate turbo.
• Auto Turbo Mode: Press the Turbo button in combination with a desired button and then press the button again to activate auto turbo.

P1/P2 Buttons Configuration

Note: LSB/RSB configuration is not supported. The Profile LED blinks continuously when a configured button is pressed.

• You can remap a single button on the controller to the P1/P2 buttons.
• To configure, press and hold the desired button, then press P1 or P2. The Profile LED will blink continuously when the configured button is pressed.

Fast Button Swap

Note: D-pad, Home button, LSB/RSB, + start, select, and P1/P2 buttons are not supported for button swap. The Profile LED blinks continuously when the swapped button is pressed, indicating its function has changed.

• To swap buttons, press and hold the two buttons to be configured, then press the Star button to activate the swap.
• Repeat the same procedure or reconnect the controller to deactivate the function.

Battery Information

Features a built-in 300mAh rechargeable battery pack providing approximately 13 hours of playtime. Charging time is about 90 minutes.

The controller automatically shuts down if it fails to connect within 1 minute of startup, or if there are no operations within 15 minutes after establishing a connection. The controller will not shut down during wired connection.
