Ensure the unit is stable before placing electronics or heavy items on it. Secure to the wall, especially when a TV is placed on top.

Assembly Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the base. Place the bottom panel on a flat surface. Attach the 8x base supports (Part IDs: 114947, 115988) to the underside of the panel by screwing them in. A magnified view shows the support being screwed into place.

Step 2

Assemble the main frame. Connect the two long side panels to the bottom panel using 16x screws (Part ID: 130618). The diagram shows the screws being inserted into pre-drilled holes.

Step 3

Attach side brackets. Secure 2x wall brackets (Part ID: 144342) to the side panels using screws (Part ID: 113287).

Step 4

Insert back panels. Slide the back panels into the grooves on the side and bottom panels.

Step 5

Install internal shelf supports. Insert cam lock screws (Part IDs: 118137, 122971, 141028, 130725, 119253) into the designated holes on the side panels and internal dividers. Then, insert the corresponding cam lock housings (Part IDs: 130619, 130722, 141027, 130723, 130620) into the main frame pieces and turn them to lock the structure.

Step 6

Attach side panels to the base. Connect the side panels to the bottom panel using the previously installed cam locks.

Step 7

Insert vertical dividers. Place the internal dividers into their positions, aligning them with the cam lock screws.

Step 8

Attach top panels. Secure the top panels to the side panels and dividers using cam locks.

Step 9

Insert back panels. Slide the remaining back panels into the grooves.

Step 10

Attach top cover. Place the top cover onto the assembled unit and secure it.

Step 11

Insert shelf supports. Place the 6x shelf supports (Part ID: 115444) and 6x shelf supports (Part ID: 115443) into the desired holes inside the unit.

Step 12

Prepare for wall mounting or accessory attachment. Attach 4x corner brackets (Part IDs: 144343 to 144347) to the unit as shown.

Step 13

Attach cable management clips. Secure 1x bracket (Part IDs: 133209 to 10093085) and 1x bracket (Part IDs: 133203 to 10093227) for cable management using screws (Part ID: 113287).

Step 14

Attach cable management brackets. Secure 1x bracket (Part IDs: 144348 to 144350) and 1x bracket (Part IDs: 144567 to 10093069) using screws (Part ID: 109049).

Step 15

Route cables. Connect and route any necessary cables through the management system.

Step 16

Secure cable management. Attach the final cable management components, ensuring cables are neatly organized.

Step 17

Prepare for wall mounting. Position the unit against the wall. The diagram shows height adjustment marks.

Step 18

Wall mounting preparation. Adjust the height of the unit as needed for wall mounting.

Step 19

Attach wall mount clips. Secure 4x wall mount clips (Part ID: 103693) to the back of the unit. These clips will engage with wall brackets.

Step 20

Wall mounting. The diagram shows the unit being hung on wall brackets. Ensure the wall is suitable and use appropriate fixings.

Step 21

Final wall attachment. Secure the unit to the wall brackets. A click sound indicates proper engagement.

Step 22

Wall mounting measurements. The diagram indicates precise measurements for wall bracket placement: 43 mm (1 11/16") from edges, 600 mm (23 5/8") spacing, 514 mm (20 1/4") center gap, and 80 mm (3 1/8") from the top edge.

Step 23

Final wall mounting. Two people are shown securing the unit to the wall using the wall mounting system.

Step 24 (UPPLEVA System)

Attach UPPLEVA brackets. For use with the UPPLEVA system, attach the specified brackets (Part IDs: 133203 to 10093227 and 144567 to 10093069) to the unit using screws (Part ID: 109049).

Step 25 (UPPLEVA System)

The UPPLEVA system is shown being attached to the BESTÅ unit for TV mounting. Refer to separate UPPLEVA instructions for full details.

Step 26 (UPPLEVA System)

Final UPPLEVA installation. The TV is mounted to the unit via the UPPLEVA system.

Step 27 (Shelves)

Insert shelves. Place the 3x shelves onto the shelf supports previously installed in Step 11.

UPPLEVA System Compatibility

This BESTÅ unit can be used with the UPPLEVA system, which includes TV mounts and other accessories. Please note that the UPPLEVA system may not be available in all countries.
