Charging

AC Charging

Simply connect the EB55 to a standard wall outlet and start charging.

A wall AC outlet is connected via an AC adapter to the EB55's AC adapter input port.

Solar Charging

Connect solar panels (in series or parallel) to the EB55 using the solar charging cable.

Note: Please ensure your solar panels meet the following specifications: OCV: 12-28V, Input Current: 8A Max, Max Input Power: 200W max. With MC4 or Anderson connectors.

Solar panels with MC4 connectors are connected via a solar charging cable to the EB55's DC input port.

Car Charging

Connect the EB55 directly to the car's cigarette lighter port using the car charging cable.

A car's cigarette lighter port is connected via a car charging cable to the EB55's DC input port.

³ OCV: Open Circuit Voltage. The maximum voltage a solar panel can output without load.

Generator Charging

Connect the AC adapter's input plug to the generator, and connect the output plug to the EB55's DC charging port.

A generator is connected via an AC adapter to the EB55's AC adapter input port.

Dual Charging

The EB55 also supports dual charging (e.g., charging via adapter + PV, and charging via dual adapter).

Illustrates various dual charging configurations using AC outlets, AC adapters, car charging cables, solar charging cables, and DC7909-XT60 cables.

⁴ For dual adapter charging, an additional adapter (200W AC adapter + DC7909-XT60 female cable) is required.

Discharging

Estimated runtimes for various devices:

  • Phone: 40-50 times (10Wh per charge)
  • LED Light: 20-30 hours (at 20W)
  • Television: 5-6 hours (at 75W)
  • Power Tool: 5-6 hours (at 80W)
  • Refrigerator: 4-5 hours (at 90W)
  • Multi-cooker: 2-3 hours (at 200W)

Formula for calculating charging time: 537 Wh x DoD x η ÷ (Load Power) = Charging Time (approximate)

Note: DoD - Depth of Discharge, η - inverter efficiency. DoD = 90%, η = 90%. Load power and charging time are measured in Watts and hours.
