As wall materials vary, screws for fixing to the wall are not included. For advice on suitable screw systems, contact your local specialized dealer.

The canvas may have a distinctive smell when first unpacked. This is completely natural, as all new materials have their own particular smell that gradually disappears over time.

Assembly and Mounting

Tools Required

You will need the following tools:

• Pencil ✏️
• Ruler ?
• Spirit Level ⚖️
• Scissors ✂️

Frame Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble the frame:

1. Prepare your workspace: Lay the canvas flat on a protected surface (e.g., a blanket or the packaging material) to avoid scratches.
2. Assemble the frame: Place the frame components around the edges of the canvas. The diagrams illustrate various numbered parts that interlock and connect to form the frame.
3. Secure the frame: Connect the frame pieces by inserting them into designated slots or by using the provided clips. Arrows in the diagrams indicate the direction of assembly and connection. Some steps may involve pushing or sliding parts into place. A tool may be used to help secure certain components.
4. Attach and trim the canvas: Carefully align the canvas within the assembled frame. Secure the canvas to the frame, ensuring it is taut. Use scissors ✂️ to trim any excess canvas material from the edges for a neat finish.

Wall Mounting

To hang your BJÖRKSTA frame:

5. Install wall brackets: Determine the desired position for your frame. Use a spirit level ⚖️ to mark and install the wall brackets securely onto the wall. Note: Wall mounting hardware (screws, wall plugs) are not included and must be purchased separately, suitable for your wall type.
6. Hang the frame: Carefully lift the assembled frame and hang it onto the installed wall brackets. Ensure it is securely seated.
