Your Xiaomi Consumer Warranty

As a Xiaomi consumer, you benefit under certain conditions from additional warranties. Xiaomi offers specific consumer warranty benefits which are in addition to, and not instead of, any legal warranties provided by your national consumer law. The duration and conditions related to the legal warranties are provided by respective local laws.

Except as prohibited by laws or otherwise promised by Xiaomi, the after-sales services shall be limited to the country or region of the original purchase.

Under the consumer warranty, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Xiaomi will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or refund your product.

Warranty Exclusions

Normal wear and tear.
Force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, accidents).
Abuse or damage caused by the user's negligence or fault.
Products which were not duly imported and/or were not duly manufactured by Xiaomi and/or were not duly acquired from Xiaomi or a Xiaomi's official seller.

The contact person for the after-sale service may be any person in Xiaomi's authorized service network, Xiaomi's authorized distributors, or the final vendor who sold the products to you. If in doubt, please contact the relevant person as Xiaomi may identify.

The present warranties do not apply in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

As per applicable law, you may benefit from warranties from the non-official retailer who sold the product. Therefore, Xiaomi invites you to contact the retailer from whom you purchased the product.

Specific Information for Mexico

Importador y/o Comercializador: XIAOMI SOFTWARE DE MEXICO S DE RL DE CV.

Xiaomi guarantees this product against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year (twelve months) from the date of delivery to the consumer. During the warranty period, Xiaomi, at its discretion and to the extent permitted by law, will (1) repair the product free of charge with new or genuine used Xiaomi parts that meet Xiaomi's operational requirements, (2) replace the product with a replacement of the same model (or, with your consent, one that is equivalent or substantially similar in function, e.g., a different model with the same functions or the same model in another color) that is new or contains new parts or genuine used Xiaomi parts that meet Xiaomi's operational requirements, or (3) refund the original purchase price.

What is Not Covered? (Exceptions)

When the product has been used in conditions other than normal.
When the product has not been operated in accordance with the included user manual.
When the product has been altered or repaired by persons not authorized by Xiaomi or the responsible commercializer.

How to Obtain Warranty Service in Mexico

Consumers must present the product along with the warranty, duly sealed by the establishment that sold it, or the invoice, or receipt or proof of purchase, which includes the specific details of the product purchased.

At any of the service centers authorized by Xiaomi, Xiaomi commits to replacing or repairing the product, as well as all defective parts and components, including labor and transportation costs incurred for its fulfillment, within its service network, at no cost to the consumer.

Important: Before sending the device for warranty service, it is recommended that consumers make backup copies of the information, programs, or other materials stored on their device. It is possible that this data, programs, or other materials may be lost or formatted during service. Xiaomi disclaims any responsibility for losses or damages.

Xiaomi offers additional rights to those established in the Federal Consumer Protection Law, including those related to non-conforming products. As such, the benefits of the Xiaomi one-year limited warranty are complementary and do not substitute the rights provided by law. Consumers may choose to claim services under the Xiaomi one-year limited warranty or under the rights of consumer protection laws.
