Make It Happen
01 Product Overview
Read this manual carefully before use, and retain it for future reference. Thanks for using HOTO Camplight.
Product Components:
- 1. Flashlight: For focused illumination.
- 2. Camp light: For general area lighting.
- 3. Ambient light: For creating atmosphere.
- 4. Mode adjusting head: Used to switch between lighting modes.
- 5. Switch button: Controls power and brightness adjustments.
- 6. Battery indicator light: Shows battery status.
- 7. Outer casing: The main body of the product.
- 8. Charging port: Type-C port for charging.
- 9. Hook: For hanging the light.
- 10. Foldable lampshade: Diffuses light for softer illumination.
02 How to Use
Mode Adjusting Head
This product features three distinct lighting modes. To select a desired mode, rotate the mode adjusting head and align the markings on the lampshade with those on the cylinder tool body.
- [Flashlight Mode Icon] Flashlight mode: Ideal for travel and long-distance illumination.
- [Camp Light Mode Icon] Camp Light mode: Suitable for illuminating surroundings.
- [Ambient Light Mode Icon] Ambient Light mode: Designed for creating atmosphere.
When the product is powered "ON", modes can be freely adjusted by rotating the mode adjusting head. The selected mode will activate at its highest light intensity.
ON/OFF and Brightness Control
Under the Flashlight Mode:
- Press the switch button to turn the Flashlight on gradually.
- Press it again to turn the Flashlight off gradually.
- The flashlight defaults to its brightest setting. Press and hold the switch button for stepless dimming, adjusting brightness from highest to lowest. Corresponding mode indicators will light up progressively.
- Press and hold again to switch from the lowest brightness back to the highest. Corresponding mode indicators will light up progressively.
Under the Camp Light Mode:
- Press the switch button to turn the Camp Light on gradually.
- Press it again to turn the Camp Light off gradually.
- The camp light defaults to its brightest setting. Press and hold the switch button for stepless dimming, adjusting brightness from highest to lowest. Corresponding mode indicators will light up progressively.
- Press and hold again to switch from the lowest brightness back to the highest. Corresponding mode indicators will light up progressively.
Under the Ambient Light Mode:
- Press the switch button to turn the Ambient Light on gradually.
- Press it again to turn on the Candlelight mode.
- Press it again to turn the Ambient Light off gradually.
- The ambient light defaults to its brightest setting. Press and hold the switch button for stepless dimming, adjusting brightness from highest to lowest. Corresponding mode indicators will light up progressively.
- Press and hold again to switch from the lowest brightness back to the highest. Corresponding mode indicators will light up progressively.
Brightness cannot be changed under Candlelight mode.
Note: All functions can be used normally while the product is being charged.
Charging and Battery
Charging
Plug a Type-C charging cable into the charging port to charge the product. This product is equipped with a Type-C charging cable.
Battery Indicator Light
In the "ON" status, the battery indicator light shows:
- Flashing red light: 0-10% battery remaining.
- Continuous red light: 10%-30% battery remaining (turns off after 5 seconds).
- Continuous orange light: 30%-60% battery remaining (turns off after 5 seconds).
- Continuous green light: 60%-100% battery remaining (turns off after 5 seconds).
Charging Indicators:
- Charging in process: Red breathing light (breathing rate: every 3 seconds).
- Charging completed: Permanent green light.
Foldable Lampshade
To attach the foldable lampshade, align it with the groove between the mode adjusting head and the body's outer casing, where the magnets are located.
03 Warning
Safety Precautions
- For proper use: Please follow the instructions in this User Guide to use this product properly.
- Repair services: Do not disassemble this product. Only authorized personnel are allowed to repair this product to avoid safety accidents.
- Charging instructions:
- This product can only be charged with a charger that meets its charging parameters.
- If the status indicator light does not work properly during charging after a long period of disuse, please charge it for 30 minutes for observation.
- Instructions for use:
- This product emits strong light. Keep direct rays of light away from eyes of people and animals, and the lens of optical equipment.
- To reduce the risk of injury, children should be accompanied by their parents when using this product.
- To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not place this product in water or other liquids.
- Do not place or store this product where it may fall into a bathtub or sink.
Warnings
- Damages caused by using a charger with unfitting parameters for charging are not covered by the warranty and may lead to other hazards.
- If the battery temperature reaches 45°C, the charging protection function will be triggered, and charging will be discontinued. The recommended ambient temperature for charging is 0-30°C.
Battery Safety Warnings
- Do not open or shred the battery.
- Do not expose the battery to heat sources or flames. Do not store the battery under direct sunlight.
- Do not perform mechanical shocks to the battery.
- If the battery accidentally leaks, avoid direct contact of leaking liquid with skin or eyes. In case of contact, rinse with abundant water.
- Charge the battery before first use.
- After long-term storage, the battery needs to be charged and discharged several times to obtain the best battery performance.
- Battery performance is best when used at ordinary temperature (20±5°C).
- The battery must be removed before this product is disposed of.
- Before removing the battery, the power of this product must be cut off.
- Please recycle and dispose of the battery in an environmentally correct manner.

The data parameters mentioned are measured in a laboratory environment and may differ due to objective environmental and usage factors. The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; the entire luminaire should be replaced when the light source reaches the end of its life. If the external cable or cord is damaged, it must be replaced with a cable or cord specially provided by the manufacturer or its service agent.

Troubleshooting
