Product Overview

Thank you for choosing UNITEK product. This is an extender for USB over RJ45 + 4-Port Hub. The USB extender is using premium chipset. By using Cat.5, Cat.5e or Cat.6 RJ45 LAN cable, it supports extension up to 60M. With a DC 5V (3.5mm x 1.35mm) power port; by connecting to external power supply, it can supply more power to USB peripheral devices and enhance the performance.

Installation

1. Connect both RJ45 ports (Transmitter and Receiver) by Cat.5, Cat.5e or Cat.6 RJ45 LAN cable.
2. Connect Transmitter's USB-A (Male) connector to computer.
3. Connect your USB devices to the hub (Receiver). Reminder: LED light indicates different working status.
   • White light turns on when power is connected.
   • Green light turns on when both Transmitter and Receiver is connected.
   • Yellow light is flashing when transferring data.

Caution

1. Please remove USB devices properly. Click 'Safety Remove Hardware and Eject Media' before removing the devices from computer.
2. Please connect external power supply (DC 5V) when connecting high-power consuming USB devices to avoid unstable connection.
3. Transmission speed will be different depend on device.
4. Please use good quality/premium Cat.5, Cat.5e or Cat.6 RJ45 LAN cable which is not exceed 60m.

尊敬的客戶,感謝您選用本公司USB延長線類產品,我們的USB延長線採用業界高性能穩定性強的主控晶片,通過RJ45介面採用Cat5/Cat5e/Cat6網線連接,高保真傳輸延長距離達到60米。產品設計有DC 5V (3.5*1.35)加強供電介面,可為大功耗的USB設備提供穩定的電源供給。

安裝指南

1. 採用Cat5/Cat5e/Cat6網線將上行和下行RJ45介面連接。
2. 直接將產品的上行公頭連接到電腦。
3. 將USB設備插入下行端口開始使用。

注意:成功連接後並通電後白色電源指示燈常亮,綠色網路連接指示燈常亮 (LINK),有數據傳輸時黃色指示燈(ACT)閃爍。

注意事項

1. USB設備雖然支持熱插拔,但是在使用U盤、移動硬碟等存貯設備時儘量先 “安全移除設備”後再拔出設備,以免造成數據丟失。
2. 在使用功率較大的USB設備或延長更穩的距離時,請連接DC 5V電源適配器為其供電,防止因供電不足而導致的不能識別或工作不穩定。
3. 由於USB信號長距離延長,USB信號會有所衰減,根據所連接的設備不同,傳輸速度會有差異。
4. 建議選用優質的Cat5/Cat5e/Cat6網線連接,最大延長距離不要超過60米。
