The buyer is entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Important Safety Information

Safety Instructions

  1. Consult a physician before starting any exercise program.
  2. Always keep the equipment out of reach of children and pets. NEVER allow a child to be unsupervised in the room where the equipment is located. The cables and moving parts of this equipment can cause serious or fatal injuries if misused.
  3. Never allow a child to use weight-stack equipment (unless it is specifically designed for children). Supervise the use of the equipment by young people aged 13 to 17.
  4. Use the equipment one person at a time only.
  5. If you experience dizziness, nausea, chest pain, or any other unusual symptom, STOP exercising immediately and CONSULT A PHYSICIAN IMMEDIATELY.
  6. Place the equipment on a clear, level surface. DO NOT use it outdoors or near water.
  7. Keep hair, body, and clothing away from moving parts.
  8. Always wear appropriate clothing during training. AVOID loose clothing that could get caught in the equipment, such as bathrobes. Wear running or athletic shoes.
  9. Use the equipment only for the purposes described in this manual. DO NOT use accessories not recommended by the manufacturer.
  10. Never use the equipment as a support for stretching or as an anchor for resistance bands, ropes, or other items, unless authorized by the manufacturer.
  11. Do not place sharp objects near the equipment.
  12. Individuals with disabilities should use the equipment only in the presence of a physician or qualified person.
  13. Always stretch to warm up properly before using the equipment.
  14. Inspect the equipment, including cables, straps, chains, and their connectors, before use. Do not use the equipment if any part is worn, damaged, or unusable.
  15. The Centr 2 Functional Trainer is designed for home use only. Class H (Home): domestic use, the weight plates are not enclosed, which means:
    • Only one person may use the Centr 2 at the same time.
    • Ensure that no one else is in the training area. Other people in the room must remain at least 1.5 m (5 ft) from the equipment.
    • After using the equipment, the person must ensure that no unauthorized person has access to it.
    • Ensure the weight selection pin is fully inserted (for weight stack equipment). Never insert the pin when the weight stack or top plate is raised, nor use equipment left in this condition. Only use manufacturer-provided means to gradually increase resistance.

Maintenance and Cleaning

  • Inspect and retighten all parts before using the equipment.
  • Clean the frame and seat cushion with a damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive detergent. DO NOT use solvents.
  • Replace any damaged or worn upholstery promptly.

WARNING: CONSULT A PHYSICIAN BEFORE STARTING A FITNESS PROGRAM. THIS WARNING IS PARTICULARLY IMPORTANT FOR PERSONS OVER 35 OR WITH HEALTH PROBLEMS. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING ANY FITNESS EQUIPMENT. Health in Motion LLC ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR INJURIES OR PROPERTY DAMAGE THAT MAY RESULT FROM THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT.

Label Placement

This section details the location and content of various warning and information labels on the equipment.

General Warning Label: Reads "WARNING / AVERTISSEMENT / ADVERTENCIA". It emphasizes using only genuine Centr replacement parts to avoid voiding the warranty and potential injury. It also states that users assume risk and should follow safety rules.

Specific Warnings:

  • Maximum User Weight: 136 kg / 300 lb.
  • Pinch Points: Labels indicating potential pinch points.
  • Consumer Use Only: "FOR CONSUMER USE ONLY / RÉSERVÉ AU CONSOMMATEUR UNIQUEMENT / PARA USO DEL CONSUMIDOR ÚNICAMENTE".
  • Maintenance Sticker: Provides a maintenance schedule including inspecting cables, cleaning upholstery, checking tension, and replacing parts.
  • Caution Label (Bench): "CAUTION / !PRUDENCE! / PRECAUCIÓN" - Advises to ensure the pop-pin is fully engaged when the product is folded or upright.
  • Weight Capacity Label (Bench): "WARNING / AVERTISSEMENT / ADVERTENCIA" - Maximum Weight Capacity 227 kg / 500 lb.
  • Misuse Warning Label (Bench): "WARNING / AVERTISSEMENT / ADVERTENCIA" - "DO NOT MISUSE THIS EQUIPMENT". Emphasizes that serious injuries may occur if caution is not used, and labels must be read and followed.

Assembly Instructions (Centr 2 Functional Trainer)

Note: Remove the nut and washer from the bolt before assembly.

Tools Required: Hex wrench #6 (47), Hex wrench #5 (48), Wrench #10 & 17 (49).

Step 1

A. Do not tighten nuts and bolts until instructed. Attach the vertical center column (4) to the right (1) and left (2) uprights.

B. Secure the lower horizontal crossbar with M10 x 130 bolts (41), M10 washers (25), and M10 nuts (24). Install the lower vertical crossbar using M10 x 25 bolts (20), M10 lock washers (23), and M10 washers (25).

C. Secure the upper horizontal crossbar with M10 x 95 bolts (42), M10 washers (25), and M10 nuts (24). Install the upper vertical crossbar using M10 x 25 bolts (20), M10 lock washers (23), and M10 washers (25).

D. Install the pull-up bar (3). Secure the pull-up bar with M10 x 25 Allen bolts (20), M10 lock washers (23), and M10 washers (25).

E. Fully tighten all installed nuts and bolts.

Step 2

A. Install the guide rods (7) to the frame. Secure with M10 x 80 bolts (18) and M10 washers (25). Tighten completely.

B. Install the rubber cushions (16) onto each guide rod (7). Insert 15 weight plates (10) from the top of the guide rods (7), sliding them onto the rubber cushions (16). Weight stickers should face inward, and weight cushions should face down.

C. Remove pre-installed M10 x 20 bolts (21), M10 lock washers (23), and M10 washers (25) retaining the guide rod support (6). Slide the weight selection mechanism (8) onto each guide rod (7). Install the weight stack pulley (33) with the cable threaded between the pulley and the U-shaped bracket (31). Insert the cam bolt (32) and secure with an M10 washer (25) and M10 nut (24).

D. Hold the weight selection mechanism (8) above the weight stack so the guide rod support (6) can be installed onto the guide rods (7).

E. Straighten the guide rod support (6).

F. Secure the support with M10 x 20 bolts (21), M10 lock washers (23), and M10 washers (25).

G. Lower the weight selection mechanism onto the top of the weight stack.

H. Check all cables to ensure they are properly routed on the pulleys.

I. Install the weight stickers (26), starting with number 1 on the weight selection mechanism.

J. Install the weight pin (9) into the weight stack.

K. Lubricate the guide rods with Super Lube or the provided lubricant.

L. Adjust cable tension by loosening and turning the cam bolt (32) until the weight selection mechanism (8) slightly lifts off the weight stack. Tighten the nut on the cam bolt to lock it.

M. Repeat on the other side.

Step 3

A. Insert supports (34) into fabric sleeves 1, 2, 3 (36, 37, 38). Insert supports (35) into fabric sleeves 1, 2 (36, 37). Secure the top first with M8 x 15 bolt (39), M8 washer (40), then bolt into the lower bracket. Repeat on the other side.

B. Refer to illustration for guidance.

C. Install Centr logo plates (5) on top of the sleeves.

Step 4

A. Install the tablet holder, securing it with M6 x 75 mm bolt (28), M6 lock nut (30), and M6 washers (29). Tighten hardware.

B. Install accessory supports (43 and 44) onto the center tube, using M10 x 70 bolts (19), M10 washers (25), and M10 nuts (24) to secure them.

C. Store the biceps/triceps bar (12) and rope (11) on the suspension support behind the upper crossbar (5). Attach the traction belt (14) to the upper crossbar (5).

Usage Zone

Ensure adequate space around the equipment for safe operation. Recommended clearance:

  • Sides: 2.4 m (8 ft)
  • Front: 2.7 m (9 ft)

General Maintenance Warnings:

  • Do not place styrofoam or printed material on orthopedic seat cushions; they may stick and damage the surface.
  • Do not leave objects on orthopedic seat cushions; their precise density allows them to conform to placed items, potentially leaving an imprint that takes time to disappear.
  • Periodically inspect cables for cracks, splits, fraying, deformation, or flattened sections. Replace cables immediately upon the first sign of damage or wear. Never use equipment with damaged or worn cables.
  • As cables naturally stretch over time, check their tension regularly and adjust as needed.
  • Regularly inspect the product for loose parts.
  • Do not store or use outdoors.
  • Verify that carabiners, pulleys, handles, and weight selection pins are in good condition. Replace worn or damaged parts with Centr parts only.
  • Read and understand the safety warnings on the equipment.
  • Replace any damaged or worn upholstery promptly.
  • Periodically wipe guide rods with a dry cloth, then apply a thin coat of Teflon-based lubricant.

Folding and Adjusting the Bench

To fold or unfold the leg, pull the spring pin. Keep hands away from the pivot mechanism. After each setup, verify the pin is fully inserted.

To adjust the backrest incline, turn the locking lever located under the backrest. Lift the top of the backrest to engage the bottom of the support tube into the desired incline notch. Before using the bench, ensure the tube is securely engaged in the notch.

Keep hands away from pivot and closing points when folding the bench. Ensure the locking lever hook is correctly placed before moving the bench.
