Configuration
Solar configuration is performed by accessing the embedded web server of the VIARIS charger via Wi-Fi at the IP address 192.168.4.1 (for firmware versions 2.0.54 or higher). Navigate to the 'Installation' menu, activate the 'SOLAR' option, and input the maximum solar power generated, network injection status, connection scheme, and confirm single-phase connection.
Solar Installation Schematics
Three connection options are available for integrating the TMC100 meter with the VIARIS charger, depending on the solar installation setup:
- Option 1: Connect the TMC100 to the inverter output. This measures the energy generated by the photovoltaic installation.
- Option 2: Connect the TMC100 after the Connection Splitter. This measures the total household consumption along with the charger's consumption.
- Option 3: Connect the TMC100 after the Connection Splitter, measuring only the household consumption.
The CONTAX D-10011 BUS VIARIS SOLAR must be installed before the Connection Splitter. The selected option must be indicated in the charger's embedded web schema for correct operation.
Diagrams illustrating these connection options are provided on the reverse side of the original documentation.
Dimensions
The device has the following dimensions: Width: 72 mm, Height: 90 mm, Depth: 18.2 mm.
Installation Notes
- Installation and mounting must be performed by a qualified installer.
- The device must be installed in a distribution board or cabinet, ensuring that the terminals connected to the power supply are not accessible after installation is complete.
- The system must be equipped with an appropriate circuit breaker and surge protection device located upstream of the meter and easily accessible.
- While the device has internal protection against electromagnetic interference, strong external fields may affect its operation. To prevent interference, avoid installing near inductive loads (motors, transformers, contactors) and consider using a separate power line with a network filter. Inductive loads should be fitted with interference suppressors (varistors, RC filters).
- Measurement terminals are permanently connected and non-accessible once the device is installed. No specific ventilation requirements are needed. The meter does not have temperature or humidity control.
Connection Schematics
Before connecting the device, ensure that the conductors are de-energized. Remove terminal front covers, connect the meter according to the diagram, and then restore electrical safety by refitting the terminal covers.
Detailed connection diagrams are provided on the reverse side of the original documentation.
Product Disposal Information
The symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin indicates that the product must be collected separately from other waste at the end of its useful life. Users must take the equipment to appropriate separate collection centers for electrical and electronic waste. Alternatively, the equipment can be returned to the retailer upon purchase of an equivalent new product. Retailers with a sales area of at least 400 m² must accept small electronic waste (under 25 cm) free of charge, without purchase obligation. Proper separate collection and environmentally compatible disposal contribute to preventing negative effects on the environment and health, and promote the reuse and recycling of materials.
